Don't touch them

Chapter 16

  "Wake up everyone!" Liz yelled from the kitchen.

Danny exclaimed, "It's Christmas and time to eat!". All the guys slowly got out of bed and made their way to the dining room to eat. Danny saw them and stated, "I know we have all had a rough month, but today we are going to forget all negativity and have fun! First, you all need to eat since god knows when you do eat".

They all ate together and when they were done, Liz announced, "Alright everybody! Time for gifts! You guys will open mine first!" and she handed everyone a gift. Danny got a necklace that was half of a heart with Liz wearing the other half, Matt got a stuffed cat which he loved, Mark also got a cat stuffed animal which he didn't show that he adored it, and Sebastian got bracelet that was handmade and the same color as Danny's necklace and he put it on then thanked her.

"My turn!" Danny said happily and handed them each a gift.

They all opened their gifts and Liz said, "Danny! Where did you get the money for all this?".

"The Alexander family is a very wealthy family," Danny said simply.

Matt said, "That's right. I almost forgot that you keep in touch with our parents".

"Well do you guys like them?" Danny asked and everyone showed their gratitude.

Once everyone passed out their presents, they all decided to go out to see the festival. "Be careful and don't go anywhere alone?" Sebastian said sternly and they all paired up, Liz and Danny, Mark and Matt, and Sebastian with James. Danny dragged Liz to a food stand and they began to marvel at the amazing looking food.

"Hey, Liz. Does it look like they are following us?" Danny asked while staring past Liz.

Liz turned while still holding Danny's arm and asked, "Yeah and they are coming even closer to us. Shall we do something with them?".

"Let them come to us. If they want to start trouble, then we will act, but if they don't then we leave them be" Danny said with a smile.

"Okay. You're the boss" Liz joked. The people who were following the two girls came up behind them and asked Liz and Danny to follow them.

The females complied and when they stopped behind a wall, Danny asked, "What do you need from us?".

"Our boss wants to see the two of you," the female said.

Liz asked, "Who is your boss?".

"We can't tell you that," the female said getting Liz annoyed.

"It is the same in books as well. No one ever reveals the boss. How about we don't go with you and you can tell your boss that if they want to see us, then they come themselves?" Liz said while getting ready to punch them.

"Sorry, but orders are orders. You are coming with us" the male said as they approached forward.

Danny sighed and said, "I really didn't want to have to deal with this on Christmas, but you ruined it. I am truly sorry for this" and she kicked the male in the gut and Liz punched the female in the stomach as well and the two followers fell to the ground in pain. Danny called over some officers and told them what happened then left them to do their job. Liz and Danny both received a call from their friends asking if they were okay since cop car lights and sirens were heard so Liz said, "Don't worry. Danny and I took care of it. Go and enjoy the festival".

"But-" the boys started to say.

Danny took the phone and interrupted them by saying, "Bye-bye boys!" and hanging up.

"I love those boys. but they can be a little extra sometimes" Danny said while they continued to walk. Liz agreed.

"Now let us go enjoy this festival!" Liz said excitedly and Danny led them to the face painting booth. They both got matching butterflies on their right cheeks.
