Chapter 18

  "Well you had your people try to take two very special people to us, so you have not given the best impression right now," Sebastian said calmly.

The man said, "You are absolutely right. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Steve Daggett and I would like to hire Danny and Liz".

"One, they are Ms. Hueston and Ms. Alexander to you. Two, they don't want to go with you" Sebastian stated bluntly.

"Oh, I apologize. You seem to miss understand me. I am not asking you for permission. If Danny and Liz want to keep you all alive, then they will be coming with me. I am already here to pick them up". Steve walked into the room in casual clothing and said, "Let's go darlings. Time to make the world pure again".

"And if we refuse? I don't care who you think you are. You ruined my day after all this planning and preparation" Danny growled.

Steve said, "I am sorry, but I don't really care. I am only here to get you. Not to become friends". He walked closer to them and the human wall got tighter together.

Steve went to grab the two girls and Mark said, "Don't touch them. You deserve punishment and to be taught a lesson".

Steve laughed then said, "You got it wrong. You are the ones who deserve punishment for touching those perfect ladies with your impure hands. Now please come with me darlings so we can clean you from their filth".

"Can I say goodbye at least?" Liz asked.

He thought for a moment and said, "Of course dear considering this the last time you will see them".

"Thank you," Liz said while she and Danny walked to the group of boys acting as a wall.

"What are you doing?" Sebastian's brother asked.

Liz whispered," I have a plan. We pretend to help him and by the time we get to his place, my guards will already there to capture him".

"Smart, but I am replacing half of your men with mine, so they understand the extent of both families and know not to mess with us" Sebastian's brother stated.

"Fine. Let's go, Liz, before he gets suspicious" Danny said quietly. When they stood next to Steve, he put his arms around both their waists and Mark had to be held back by the three other guys so he wouldn't murder the man on the spot.

"Calm down Mark," Matt said quietly in his ear and Mark stops resisting.

"Let's go darlings. Time to make the world a better place" Steve said as he guided Liz and Danny out the room.

"So where are you taking us?" Danny asked trying to find out what was going to happen.

"Well we are going to my lovely office building since your workers are surrounding my house," he said with a smile.

"You are a smart one. Here I thought I hid my men well. I am going to have to talk to them about being spotted" Liz said with a sigh.

"I am not a fool like people think. I devised a plan while coming to get you. I knew that you wouldn't come with me that easily, so I made sure I had a backup plan" Steve said pridefully of his work.

"You are right. I am surprised that there are still people like you who use their brains while making up plans to do something" Danny agreed just to get him to lower his guard.

"You know, to be honest, I am getting sick and tired of getting the bad guys. They never listen or learn, so what is the point? I don't want to live the rest of my life chasing after people who won't change" Liz lied while she got in Steve's car next to him and laid her head on his shoulder.
