Chapt 38 - Book

Morning came and this was by far the best one Lan Zhan had. Looks like his dream of waking up to see Wei Ying in his arms every morning would come true.

Lan Zhan wanted Wei Ying to wake up in his arms so he decided to read in the position he was in.

Lan Zhan was so engrossed in his book that he did not realize Wei Ying was waking up. Wei Ying opened his eyes to find himself in the warm embrace of his lover. He smiled and looked up at Lan Zhan then he frowned.

'I'm glad Lan Zhan's reading in this position. But I woke up and he's still not paying attention to me.' Wei Ying pouted and continued thinking 'When is he going to look at me? And give me a morning kiss or something... wait... morning kiss? What am I thinking?! ...' Wei Ying blushed a little then pouted again 'He's still not looking at me!'

Wei Ying got a little jealous of the book. He shifted himself upwards to block Lan Zhan's view.

"BANG!" A loud sound resonated which startled Wei Ying.

"What's wrong?" Wei Ying frowned. Lan Zhan was acting so weird today. For a moment, he wondered if Lan Zhan regretted saying that he like him too.

"No-Nothing..." Lan Zhan said, his ears turning a little pink. He gave Wei Ying a peck on the lips then greeted "Good afternoon."

Wei Ying frowned. "If nothing then why did you suddenly shut the book so loudly? You didn't pay attention to me either. What on earth are you reading..." Wei Ying said as he turned around to look at the book.

Lan Zhan immediately got off the bed and shifted his hand such that the book was behind his back. "Let's get going."

Wei Ying frowned with curiousness. He then changed his face to a normal one and said "Alright! Where are we going today?" as he slowly got off the bed.

Seeing this, Lan Zhan heaved a sigh of relief and thought 'Lucky Wei Ying didn't... ?!?! WHAT ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!'

Lan Zhan froze. The moment he thought Wei Ying didn't notice something wrong, he let down his guard and Wei Ying snatched the book.

Wei Ying immediately opened it and he was left speechless. Lan Zhan's ear turned red. Beet red.

"..." "..." "..." Wei Ying tried saying something but he couldn't. After a few glances between the book and the embarrassed Lan Zhan, Wei Ying burst out laughing.

In between his uncontrollable laughter, he said "Hahahaha Lan Zhan, you... hahaha... I can't believe... Hahahaha... You're... unbelievable... Hahahaha" while rolling about on the bed.

Lan Zhan was too embarrassed. He pinned Wei Ying down on the bed as watching Wei Ying laugh at him while rolling about only made him more embarrassed.

"Don't laugh." Lan Zhan commanded with a frown. No one ever laughed at him like that. He was feeling way too embarrassed.

Wei Ying couldn't help himself. After he finally, finally stopped laughing, a few drop of tears had already rolled down the side of his eyes. Lan Zhan was too embarrassed and had his head burried in Wei Ying's neck.

"Pffft, Lan Zhan, what are you reading so early in the morning? HAHAHA. No wonder... No wonder last night you said you'll do it so confidently. No wonder yesterday morning you suddenly disappeared then reappeared. Were you too embarrassed to buy a pornography book in front of me? It's between men too! Hahaha" Wei Ying teased, with a couple of laughs.

"Lan Zhan, look at me." Wei Ying said. Lan Zhan shook his head, tickling Wei Ying. Wei Ying giggled and said again "Lan Zhan, look at me. Give me my morning kiss too. A deeeep one."

Lan Zhan lifted his face. He saw Wei Ying's eyes slightly widened and guessed that his face must be very red, considering the amount of heat he felt on his face. Seeing that Wei Ying was about to laugh again, Lan Zhan gave him the deeeep kiss he wanted.

Lan Zhan thought he set the mood right and lifted his lips from a panting Wei Ying, just to have it destroyed by a chuckling while panting Wei Ying. Lan Zhan frowned.

Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan and gave him a tight koala bear hug. "Lan Zhan, you're so cute... I love you so much!" Wei Ying felt like his heart was exploding from happiness. "Arghhh, why are you doing this to me? I want to hug you the tightest I can"

Lan Zhan's retreating blush advanced again. "Wei Ying... I love you too... I bought the book because... I was just... just..." Not knowing how to continue, Lan Zhan decided to just kiss Wei Ying again.

"You haven't... huff... finished your sentence." Wei Ying teased when Lan Zhan pulled away.

"..." Seeing Lan Zhan so flustered, Wei Ying found it so cute. "Ahh! Lan Zhan, I've just realised! Ever since we came to this town you have been acting very jealous! I thought you were having mood swings! But why were you flirting with the seller of the yin yang rabbits though?"

"See if you get jealous" Lan Zhan replied with his expressionless face.

Wei Ying let out a "Pfft Hahahaha" then squeezed Lan Zhan a little. Wei Ying then said while releasing Lan Zhan "You're so cute. I'm sorry though, I lost the... the... THE YIN RABBIT?"

As if on cue, when Wei Ying released Lan Zhan and said 'lost', the yin rabbit dropped out from Lan Zhan's robe, onto Wei Ying's chest.

Lan Zhan burried his head in Wei Ying's neck in embarrassment while Wei Ying started laughing uncontrollably again. "Lan Zhan! Why didn't you tell me you took the yin rabbit? Hahahaha"

Just like that, they started their first day together with Lan Zhan being embarrassed and Wei Ying laughing till he cried.
