Chapt 82 - ShuFu

Lan Zhan who held Wei Ying's waist had been slightly rubbing their groin against each other. "Accident" Lan Zhan replied.

"Liar" Wei Ying said as he pouted. Lan Zhan then carried Wei Ying and headed into JingShi. "Lan Er Ge Ge! What are you doing?! Lan Zhan! Put me down!" Wei Ying said, trying to wriggle his way out.

Wei Ying was then gently placed on the bed as Lan Zhan hovered over him. "Lan... Lan Zhan..." Wei Ying muttered, then whispered "we've already done it this morning..."

Lan Zhan looked at his cute blushing lover and couldn't help but kiss his enticing lips. "Wei Ying, you're mine..."

"Mn, I'm yours, Lan Zhan" Wei Ying replied. Just as Wei Ying was getting absorbed in the kiss while Lan Zhan reaches under his robes, knocks from the door came.

"Lan Er Gong Zi, Wei Gong Zi, Lan Sect Leader and Mister Lan has called for the two of you."

Lan Zhan had reluctance written over his face. Wei Ying giggled and pulled him up. "Lan Zhan, let's go before Old Mister Lan gets angry."

"Wei Ying" Lan Zhan said in a low tone. "Alright alright, Mister Lan" Wei Ying replied.

"ShuFu" Lan Zhan corrected him. Wei Ying giggled "Lan Zhan, there's still a week!"

They then headed to Lan QiRen's room, where he and XiChen were drinking tea. They entered and bowed, greeting the both of them. Lan QiRen gave them a nod of acknowledgement and XiChen asked them to sit.

XiChen looked behind them for a moment then said "You're here. We were wondering if your happened to be caught up on the way here" with a welcoming smile.

Wei Ying just blushed while Lan Zhan pulled him over to take a seat. Lan Zhan poured tea for Wei Ying, then refilled Lan QiRen's and XiChen's tea before pouring some for himself.

Lan XiChen started the conversation. "So... I have heard everything from ShuFu."

Lan Zhan looked at XiChen and asked "XiongZhang, what do you think?"

"I agree with settling Wen Sect first then observe Meng Yao" Lan XiChen replied "but... what are your plans?"

"We'll let things happen but not let them burn Cloud Recesses down and not let them take down Yunmeng Jiang Sect." Wei Ying said with determination in his voice.

Lan QiRen looked at Wei Ying. He was serious when he needed to. Lan QiRen actually felt that Wei Ying is a skilled and promising cultivator. His only downside was his rowdiness and Stygian Tiger Metal.

Lan XiChen looked at Wei Ying and smiled "I heard that brother-in-law is going to recreate Stygian Tiger Metal. I'll be counting on you to help us."

Lan Zhan flashed a smile which left Lan QiRen and Lan XiChen utterly shocked. Wei Ying looked down and blushed. "Bro-Brother-in-law..." Wei Ying whispered.

Lan QiRen then cleared his throat and said softly "Stay safe". He certainly knew how Burial Mounds was filled with resentful energy. Even though it had already greatly decreased due to Wei Ying, when he went there after 13 years, the amount of resentful energy wasn't small.

Besides, even though Wei Ying managed to come out, his change had indicated how horrifying that place is and he certainly suffered more than anyone would ever know. Anything could happen and Lan QiRen sincerely wanted Wei Ying to be safe.

The three of them looked at him in shock. "Mister Lan, thank you..." Wei Ying certainly didn't expect that.

Lan QiRen cleared his throat again and corrected him "ShuFu" before hurriedly grabbing his cup and sipping tea.

Wei Ying blushed and Lan Zhan held his hand tightly. Wei Ying gave a wide smile and thanked him again. He was accepted. He thought that Lan QiRen might have wanted to cancel their marriage.

This acceptance meant a lot to Wei Ying. He could feel what the other version of him felt when it ended. Lost, with no place he belonged to, no home he could return to. The only thing he had which comforted him and meant the most to him was Lan Zhan.

Lan QiRen then dismissed all of them, but held Lan Zhan back. Lan XiChen stood outside the Library Pavilion and Wei Ying went up to him.

"Lan Sect Leader" Wei Ying called out.

"Brother-in-law" Lan XiChen turned around and corrected him.

Wei Ying smiled and bashfully continued "Brother-in-law, you've seen Jin GuangYao. What do you think about him?"

"He... he seems innocent and someone who feels inferior." Lan XiChen replied as he signaled him to enter the Library Pavilion. This was not a topic that could be discussed out in the open.

Wei Ying nodded his head and followed. "Well, we all thought so... but brother-in-law, in our other version you were very close to him, calling him 'A-Yao'."

"I heard that he saved me when I was fleeing Cloud Recesses." XiChen responded.

Wei Ying nodded his head. "Lan Zhan said that you like Jiang Cheng. I just hope... you won't hurt him."

XiChen gave him a puzzled look "Why would I hurt him?"

"In the previous version... the way you acted seemed like you were in love with Jin GuangYao" Wei Ying said.

XiChen looked at him and thought for a while, then smiled. "Brother-in-law, don't worry. I truly like WanYin."

Wei Ying then nodded his head and smiled. Just then, Lan Zhan walked in. Though he knew that XiChen likes Jiang Cheng and Wei Ying belongs to him, he couldn't help but get jealous at the both of them smiling at each other.

Lan Zhan went up to Wei Ying's side and held his hand. XiChen smiled, knowing that Lan Zhan was jealous. Clueless Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan "Lan Zhan! You're here!"
