6-Introductions

Hoshi's POV:

The blonde opened her sherbert pink eyes, looking around confused. The sun outside was setting, orange making my red hair burn brighter. She seemed to not notice us as she began talking to herself.

"Where am I?"

I coughed lightly, making her head whip towards the sound. I brought my leg up on the seat, placing my chin on top of my knee as I gave her a calculating look.

"Looks like you've awoken. You sleep awfully well for livestock."

I snickered, hiding my smile behind my hand.

"L-livestock?!"

She stood up from the couch she was laying on.

"W-who are you two? And...where am I?" she demanded.

I growled at her tone and was about to stand up but Ruki placed a hand on my arm, shaking his head. I sat back in the seat, muttering about how I should just shut her mouth with my fist.

"Why did you bring me here-"

Suddenly, there was a loud slam and Yuma stood behind the female, his face fixed into a scowl.

"Shut up. Quit your squealin, you sow!"

I snorted at his little tough boy act.

"Aww, that's cute Bear. Putting up a little tough act." I teased.

"Shut up," he muttered.

"Now, now. No fighting you two. She must be scared after being brought so suddenly. Right, M-Neko chan?"

Ruki had begun reading his book, already growing bored while I looked up and saw Kou, his fake idol smile on his face. I felt Azusa appear in front of me, on his knees as he took the blonde's hand into his.

"Hey....do you....like pain?"

She squealed and walked backward, resulting in her sitting on the couch again. I laughed at how stupid this girl was, glad that I could finally get some entertainment in this boring house.

"Yes! Dance more, Pierro*"

Yuma snickered at the nickname and Yui looked a bit offended.

"Hey, Azusa-kun. That's inappropriate to ask a person you just met." Kou said, but I could hear the teasing under his tone.

"Please refrain from calling her Pierro, Hoshi," Ruki said from beside me.

"If you can call her livestock then I can call her what I want, and that's Pierro, mother." I dragged out the last word to get on his nerves.

An irk mark appeared on his forehead as Kou and Yuma broke out into laughter and Azusa had a small smile on his face, better at keeping it in than his brothers. Ruki gave us each a look, instantly shutting us up and he sighed.

"We'll introduce ourselves first! My name is Kou Mukami. Nice to meet you M-Neko chan~" he winked.

I rolled my eyes at his flirty attitude.

"I'm Yuma Mukami," he said bluntly.

"Mukami?" Yui questioned quietly.

"We're all siblings here. And this is-" he said, gesturing to the male on the side of me.

"Azusa..."

Her eyes moved to the last of us but I only looked away, making a 'hmph' sound.

"I'm Ruki."

My brothers looked at me, waiting.

"Why should I tell her my name? Pierro doesn't deserve it."

"Aww, my little star. There's no need to be shy!"

"Shy my ass. A clown like her shouldn't have the honor of even thinking my name." I said, nose in the air.

I felt Ruki lightly slap the back of my head and I pouted, rubbing the spot.

"Fine. My name is Hoshi. Hoshi Mukami. Come anywhere near me and I'll suck you dry." I said, giving her a fang-filled smile.

"This is the mansion we live in! You're going to live with us here!"

"Live with you guys? I can't do that."

"Trust me, I don't want to be under the same roof as you either," I muttered under my breath.

"I'm going back."

She started running towards the door and I yawned, sticking my foot out, making her trip over it and fall to the floor. Ruki slammed his book shut as he looked at me with a bit of disapproval but I only shrugged my shoulders, beckoning Azusa over. I pointed at my hair and he nodded, beginning to style it surprisingly well. Ruki stood up, facing the girl.

"You want to go back to the Sakamaki's? You were treated as a plaything by the vampires at that mansion, were you not?"

She gasped annoyingly loud before looking at the ground in shame.

"So by being kept as their pet, even your mind degraded to the level of livestock?"

I mentally cheered Ruki on in my head, surprised he could deliver a speech that well.

"T-that's not... B-but you're all vampires aren't you? So it'd be the same if I stayed here."

I clapped slowly, her pink eyes settling on me.

"Wow, you actually figured it out yourself. I'm surprised. For such a dumb-looking Pierro, you sure do know how to work that tiny brain of yours. I would actually appreciate if you didn't compare us to those dead-brains since we have more sense than them!"

"There's no way I can believe that."

I felt my eyebrows furrow in anger at her words.

"Man, how annoying."

"Heh, good job Pierro. You managed to bring out Kou's bad side."

"We really don't care whether you're convinced or not."

She flinched at Kou's sudden change in personality, a surprised look lighting up her face.

"He's right. Our plan requires your blood.....Eve's blood."

"Eve's blood?" she muttered quietly.

She seemed deep in thought before she grabbed her head, looking more confused than ever.

"I'm....Eve? How can that be?"

"You...are definitely...Eve." Azusa said.

"N-no..I'm not Eve!"

"Quit whining over everything! All you need to do is shut up and obey us." Yuma said, actually looking annoyed.

Ruki grabbed her chin, pulling her gaze towards him. He looked deep into her eyes.

"As the one who possesses Eve's blood, you should be able to find him without error. You'll find Adam."

"H-him? Then what is Hoshi-"

"Hoshi-san!" I growled.

She gulped before starting again.

"What is Hoshi-san here for?"

"Sounds like you're trying to kick me out," I growled but Azusa's hands in my hair stopped me from attacking her.

"N-no!"

"Stop teasing her, Hoshi. To answer your question, she is a member of the family so she has the right to stay here, more than you do."

I nodded, satisfied with his answer. Ruki grabbed her hand and led her away, presumably to her room. I took a deep breath, finally relaxing my tense shoulders.

"As I said before, I don't like her."

"Give her a chance, my little star! You should make new friends since you're always so lonely." Kou teased.

Azusa finished the braid crown and I kissed his cheek as thanks.

"Well, this was an exhausting day. I'm heading up to my room."

I gave them all a wave before teleporting into my room, laying down on the bed.

'What's life gonna be like with her in the house now?'
