11-Friends with Tsunderella

Hoshi's POV:

I groaned lowly, waking up to the sound of bickering male voices.

"Why does Shu get her? Oresama saw her first." a voice sulked.

"Ayato-kun. You know we can always get her when Shu isn't watching. It's a simple move."

"Why can't I kill her? Teddy says I can!"

I put my hands over my ears, snuggling into a cool chest in front of me. Wait a minute, cool chest? I sat up, scooting onto the far end of the bed as I pulled the blankets with me, face burning. Shu groaned, reaching for me but I completely jumped off the bed, muttering curses.

"Get back here."

"No."

"Wahh, Lamb-chan looks so cute tonight in Shu's sweater. Do you want to wear my clothes too?"

I looked to the side to see Ayato, Laito, and Kanato standing there, one looking irritated, the other two looking me up and down like a snack. I tugged the sweater down, growling at their wandering eyes.

"Why are you guys even in my room?" Shu said from his bed.

"Oresama challenges you to darts! The winner can take melons here."

"M-MELONS?!" I screeched.

"Ayato, the last time you did that....Heh, do you want to be reminded of your loss?" Shu said, not bothering to open his eyes.

"Shut up. I'll win this time!"

"Too bothersome."

"What is going on here?"

Reiji appeared in the room, his face scrunched up like he didn't want to be in this very place. His face turned especially sour when he saw me wearing Shu's sweater.

"How dare you act so indecent in front of me? You should be ashamed of yourself woman!"

"Why are you scolding me when you clearly came here first, Glasses?! Don't like me, get the fuck out! Simple solution."

He growled, probably not used to a girl talking back to him and I simply just flipped him the bird.

"Can everyone get out of my room now? You all shouldn't be here in the first place."

Shu was sitting up, his blue eyes open, annoyance shining brightly in them. Ayato made a 'tch' noise, Laito blew me a kiss, Kanato was still glaring and Reiji just sighed before they all disappeared. I grabbed my uniform off the couch and went to the bathroom, quickly changing into it. I opened the door to see Shu leaning against the frame, completely blocking my exit.

"May I help you?"

"You're not going."

"Hah, I don't have to listen to anyone, especially you. I want to go to school to see my brothers so I can at least explain the situation to them." I said, crossing my arms.

"Should I suck your blood till you faint lewd woman? Maybe then you'll listen."

I teleported behind him, giving him my fakest, sweetest grin I could muster.

"If anyone is lewd, it's you Sloth. I'll be heading out first."

I threw the sweater onto the couch before walking out of the room, heading straight for the living room. All the boys were already heading out and I followed behind them, not bothering to get in the limo. I began walking and heard the sound of the limo getting closer before slowing down. There it was, on my left, someone rolling the window down.

"Get in," Subaru said.

"I'm not some damsel in fucking distress. I have two legs and I plan to make the most of them."

"So annoying," he growled.

I heard a door open and close before the limo sped away. Subaru now stood next to me, his arms crossed.

"Uhh, what the fuck?"

"Hurry up and walk."

I sighed at his demanding tone and began walking, his long legs able to match my pace. There was an awkward silence but I didn't mind it, beginning to lose myself in my thoughts. I was suddenly jerked back, the sound of honking and a car barely missing my body by centimeters. I blinked a few times, looking around until I felt it, a hand grabbing the back of my collar.

"Are you a fucking idiot?" Subaru hissed.

"Oh, thanks for saving me. I was thinking about something."

"Stop saying it so lightly! Do you want to die?!"

"I'm a vampire, I can't die." I chuckled darkly. "Besides, I've been put through worse," I muttered lowly.

His red eyes narrowed at my words but he didn't dig deeper. I grinned, holding out my hand.

"It seems you've earned a little bit of my trust. Let's be friends, Tsunderella."

"Stop calling me that!"

"No can do, Tsunderella. I know you put up that little angry front of yours to hide how big your heart actually is. You saving me proves my theory. Don't be such a grump and shake my hand."

He muttered a few words about not needing friends. I only grinned wider.

"How about this? If we become friends, I'll call you by your actual name. Deal?"

He looked at my hand before sighing, shaking it. I gave him a hard pat on his back, surprising him.

"Here's to us being friends, Subaru."

His cheeks erupted with pink and he stuttered over his words. I couldn't help but coo at his cute reaction, patting his head like I would with Azusa.

"Who knew an angry dude like you could be so cute, Subaru?"

"S-SHUT UP!"

He quickly walked away and I giggled, skipping behind him. We soon reached the school and I spotted my brothers coming out of the limo, no Yui in sight. I ran to them and they turned to look at me. I froze at the cold look in their eyes, well, everyone but Azusa. He just looked a bit torn and lost.

"Guys?"

"Why are you here, Hoshi?" Ruki asked.

"Eh, what are you talking about guys? I go to this school too."

"Didn't you run to those purebloods?" Kou said.

"W-what the fuck are you guys talking about?"

"Don't lie to us! That's why you avoided our questions yesterday because you're doing one of them!" Yuma yelled.

"Are you guys fucking crazy?! Let me talk-"

"There's no need. You're not welcome back into the house." Ruki said.

The three idiots walked away, Azusa lingering behind. I felt myself sniffle as tears collected in my eyes.

"I'm sorry.....Hoshi....I know....that's not...what happened."

I looked at Azusa before running into his arms, giving him a tight squeeze.

"Take care of them okay?"

Azusa nodded against my shoulder and disappeared, probably to follow our brothers. I quickly wiped my tears and jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Subaru asked gruffly.

"I'm fine."

He patted my back awkwardly as a way to comfort me. I smiled genuinely at his efforts and gave him a brief hug.

"Thank you, Subaru."

"Tch, just forget about those idiots. Let's head to class."

I nodded and he grabbed my hand, leading me inside the academy.
