Hoshi's POV:
I limped on the road, flinching in pain. Azusa looked extremely worried as he helped me support half my weight.
"Hoshi....are you...sure you're...okay?"
"Don't mind me Azu....just keep...walking."
He nodded, the Sakamaki mansion coming into view. Azusa knocked on the door before Kanato opened it, his eyes narrowing on Azusa.
"What are you doing here, scum?" he hissed.
"She...came here...to see Eve."
I smiled weakly.
"Can we...come in, Kanato?"
His eye twitched and he moved to the side, letting us enter. I collapsed on the floor, not able to put any more pressure on my legs.
"Haha, sorry...looks like my legs....gave out."
Suddenly, my blonde lover appeared in front of me, his eyes widening at my figure.
"Hi, Shu."
"Oi, what happened?"
"Shh, don't yell. Just bring me into...the house."
He nodded, grabbing my body as carefully as he could but his hand accidentally brushed against my injured side. I hissed, grabbing onto the front of his sweater with my good hand tightly.
"Sorry," he muttered.
"It's fine." I smiled up at him.
He brought me to his usual sleeping couch, setting me gently on it.
"Thank you."
The rest of the family teleported in, their noses turned up in the air, probably smelling the blood. Yui's eyes landed on me and she gasped, running to my laying self.
"Hoshi-san! What happened to you?"
"Shh, too loud."
Reiji walked forward, holding out some sort of green potion for me.
"What is that?" Shu asked.
"It's something to help numb the pain."
"How do I know you're not trying to poison her?"
"What would I benefit from that? Unless you want her to continue suffering, I suggest you hurry and give her this."
"Tch."
Shu snatched the vial out of Reiji's hand and held my head up.
"Do you think you can drink it?"
I nodded and he put the bottle against my mouth. I opened it, letting the mysterious liquid enter, tearing up at the bitter taste. I swallowed painfully, coughing and hacking as Shu stroked my hair gently, whispering words of encouragement.
"Thank you, Reiji."
He nodded and Subaru walked in with rubbing alcohol and bandages.
"Idiot, why couldn't you be stronger?" he cursed.
"Haha, sorry for making you do this Subaru. I'll give you something later."
"Don't worry about it. Just shut your mouth and let me clean."
I nodded and held Shu's hand as he cleaned the wounds, squeezing hard when the liquid was applied.
"I'm sor-"
"Don't apologize. Just keep going."
He nodded and finished quickly, wrapping the bandages around. I pat his head, smiling softly.
