Hoshi's POV:

I sat in the comfortable bed, glaring at the door as I rubbed my stomach over the random outfit I had picked out. I've been stuck in here for a month and those kidnappers of mine haven't even come to visit me. They just threw me into the bedroom and left me. Luckily, they fed me and I can take all the showers I want. Lucy stood across from me, humming as she prepared my food.

"Lucy, how long have you been working here?"

"Almost 10 years, Hoshi-san. Why do you ask?"

"What are those two idiots like?"

"Hmm, well Carla-san, the white-haired one, is more on the quiet side. He's definitely a leader and a hard worker but he has a very cold side to him. The other one, Shin, is the troublemaker. He likes making fun of us workers and he's very demanding. If he doesn't get what he wants, with no hesitation, he will kill someone. They're both a bit intense but when they're both in good moods, they treat us fairly well."

"Hmph, is being a dick a supernatural trait?"

Lucy giggled before setting a grilled cheese with tomato soup in front of me. I looked at the red liquid, longing for a different type. I ate the sandwich and the soup anyways, burping gratefully.

"Thanks, Lucy. Could you do me a favor?"

"Of course, Hoshi-san!"

"I need blood or else I and this baby are going to fucking die. Do you think you could get some for me?"

"Oh, I'll get it right away!"

She came back within a few seconds with a glass of blood. She handed it to me and I drank it before setting it down on the tray.

"Thank you."

"So, who's the lucky guy?"

"Haah, his name is Shu Sakamaki-"

"Sakamaki? As in the vampire king's son?"

I nodded, rolling my eyes.

"Keep going."

"Well, his name is Shu. He's a lazy little shit but I love him. He tends to come off as an asshole but he's shown me sides to him that only I've seen and his little displays of affection make my dead heart feel alive."

I rubbed my stomach, feeling tears come up.

"I miss him so much. I miss his touch, his kisses, his smell, everything. I'll never forgive your two masters for taking me away from him." I cried.

"I-I'm sorry, Hoshi-san."

"It's not your fault, Lucy."

A knock sounded and a familiar face walked in. My teary face instantly became cold, glaring at my kidnapper.

"Hmph, took you long enough to come," I said.

"Watch your tongue before I cut it out," Carla said. He looked at Lucy, his eyes cold. "Leave."

She nodded, giving me a sympathetic look before teleporting out of the room. I crossed my arms, frowning as he came closer.

"Come one more inch and I'll rip your throat out." I hissed.

He stopped an amused expression on his face.

"Very well. I have come to explain what I need you for."

"And who said I'll listen?"

"I need your blood for something." he continued, ignoring me. "I have a disease and since your blood has healing properties, there's a chance you could heal me."
