Hoshi's POV:
-5 years later-
I opened my eyes, yawning as I felt the bed move slightly. Sakura was in my arms, murmuring in her sleep as she scooted closer to my chest. Shu was simply watching us, adoration shining in his eyes.
"Creep," I said, rubbing my eyes.
"Shut up," he murmured, placing a kiss on my lips.
I grinned, deepening it and he moaned lightly, hands tangling themselves into my hair. I pulled away, licking my lips.
"Mom, Dad, not in front of me."
Sakura's green eyes were open and filled with disgust as she witnessed the scene in front of her. I giggled, kissing her forehead.
"One day, you'll find someone you love so much that you want to kiss them every day just like your mom and dad."
She fake gagged, rolling her eyes.
"Never in a million years."
I placed her in Shu's arms, stretching as I sat up.
"I'm gonna go make breakfast."
Sakura scrambled out of Shu's arms excitedly making the blonde pout.
"I'll help!"
I pat her head and looked at Shu expectedly, one eyebrow raised. He sighed before getting out of bed, scratching the back of his head.
"Fine, I'll come too."
I smiled, both of us grabbing Sakura's hands as she skipped down the hall. We reached the kitchen and Reiji was sitting at the counter, drinking some tea as he read a book.
"Mornin' Reiji." I chirped.
He looked up and nodded.
"Good morning, Uncle Glasses!"
His eyebrow twitched in annoyance but all traces of that emotion disappeared as Sakura hugged him, giggling.
"How cute," I muttered, putting an apron on.
I got some pancake mix out, Shu's arms lazily wrapped around my waist while he kissed my neck. I groaned, trying to swat him away but to no avail. Sakura grabbed her little step-stool, her upper half going past the counter as she watched me mix the mix and water.
"Mommy! Let me have a turn!"
I nodded, handing her the whisk as she used all her strength to mix it.
"I want chocolate chips in mine!" Sakura yelled like a tribal call.
Shu paled, remembering how many chocolate chips she had put in last time, to the point where it was practically a big chocolate chip.
"No," Shu mumbled against my neck.
"I don't care what you say, Daddy. I'm putting them in."
"Why did she have to take your stubborn personality?" Shu whined.
I slapped his hand, playfully glaring at him. I helped Sakura put her blonde hair into a ponytail.
"She also took your laziness so that doesn't help me, Shu."
He muttered about how that's her best trait and I sighed, pouring the chocolate chip filled batter onto the pan. We waited a few seconds before getting the spatula, my hands holding Sakura's as she flipped, her eyes twinkling.
"Let's make for everyone mommy!"
"Alright, squirt."
We quickly finished the pancakes and Shu took Sakura upstairs to get her changed while I made some eggs and bacon. I brought out my phone, calling Ruki and inviting him and my other brothers here. They quickly agreed and arrived in less than a minute before settling in the dining room. Sakura came down, wearing a little floral dress as a smile lit up her face as she saw her four Mukami uncles at the table.
"Uncle Ru!"
He chuckled while she gave him a big hug. Kou opened his arms excitedly but Sakura skipped over him, going to Yuma.
"Uncle Yuyu!"
He gave her a brief kiss on her cheek, giving her a cheeky grin as he pats her head. She became more excited as she ran to Azusa, his arms easily catching her and she giggled, rubbing her cheek against his.
"Azu-chan!"
"Hello...Saku."
"Hug me too, Sakura~" Kou whined, arms twitching.
She sighed but smiled, running into her blonde uncle's arms, Kou showering her face with kisses.
"Stop it," Sakura whined.
I had to pry her out of his arms as the Sakamaki brothers and Yui walked in. She ran to Subaru first, snuggling into his neck.
"Susu!"
"Morning, Sakura," he mumbled, rubbing her back.
Sakura didn't bother to move from his arms, facing the triplets and Yui.
"Good morning Uncle Kanato, Uncle Laito, Uncle Ayato and Yui-chan!"
"Come here, Sakura~" Laito said.
"No, I'm good over here!"
I gave her a thumbs up after placing the plates of food on the table, everyone instantly taking a seat. Subaru placed her in between Shu and I before taking the seat on Shu's right. Sakura quickly grabbed three pancakes and dug in, signaling everyone else to start. Shu ate some eggs and bacon, wanting to avoid the chocolate filled pancake. I put one on his plate, grinning as he glared at me. He ate it anyway, face scrunching up in slight disgust.
"Is it good, daddy?"
"O-of course it is," he mumbled.
She nodded in approval, continuing her meal while Shu gave his breakfast a death glare. Kanato and Laito didn't have a single problem with it, continuing to eat while the rest of the boys only finished half of it. A mischevious look suddenly crossed Sakura's face and she ran to the kitchen, fist tightened. She threw flour at the nearest person who happened to be Kanato and he blinked, his face now covered in white. Anger soon consumed him and he grabbed his plate, throwing it at her but she dodged, the food hitting Kou.
"Uh oh," I muttered, quickly getting under the table.
I heard a few shouts and the sound of plates breaking. Shu and Sakura appeared next to me, Shu sighing heavily and Sakura laughing her heart out.
"Sakura." I sighed.
"It's funny." she giggled.
The noises died out and we slowly came out from under the table, my mouth open at the scene. Ayato, Subaru and Kou were knocked out while Kanato was yelling at Yuma, Reiji and Ruki, tears going down his face. Azusa was still in his seat, eating his breakfast calmly. I felt myself chuckle at the outcome, carrying Sakura in my arms.
"You're a little trouble maker aren't you, Squirt?"
"I get it from you, Mommy!"
I flinched and grinned, kissing her forehead.
"You did, didn't you?" I muttered.
I felt a head place itself on mine, Shu's chest vibrating from laughter.
"She did, didn't she?"
I elbowed him in the stomach, a small grunt coming from his throat. I felt my heart warm at the sight of the messy dining hall, the scene screaming 'family' to me.
"Hey, Shu?"
"Hmm?"
"I'm so glad I met you."
"Of course you are."
I turned around, pouting at his response. He gave me a kiss on the lips, ignoring Sakura's protests.
"I'm glad I met you too, Hoshi. I love you and Sakura so much."
I smiled, giving both Shu and Sakura a kiss on their cheeks.
"And I love you two too."
