Hoshi's POV:

I heard the soft thuds of shoes hitting the ground and I groaned, eyes trained on the door. The sweet smell passed by and I growled in annoyance at the thought of Pierro even trying to escape. I opened the door slowly to see her blonde hair briefly turn left at the end of the hall.

"Stupid Pierro. You're heading straight for Ruki's room."

I followed silently behind her, hearing the clock chime through the mansion, making her flinch. She still continued running, determined to return to the purebloods. Her panting became annoyingly loud and she looked back to see me trailing her. I waved teasingly, giving her a grin. Her pink eyes widened as she began running faster until she grabbed her head in pain, crouching. Ruki appeared in front of her, a disapproving look on his face. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her into the door on our right, into Ruki's room. I walked behind them, humming a little tune as I watched the scene entertained.

"Trying to escape, I see," he said.

Pierro laid on the floor, the fear evident on her face.

"What a brave little Pierro we have on our hands here." I snickered.

"I-I am not a clown! My name is Yui Komori-"

I threw my knife at her face, skimming her cheek as a little cut appeared, blood lightly coming out of it.

"Don't care."

Ruki slapped my shoulder, giving me a look but I only stuck my tongue out at him.

"You really are ill-behaved livestock. You're sleeping here tonight."

"Oh my gosh, Ruki! Already trying to make a move on her?"

His glare turned more threatening but he didn't say anything to deny what I said.

"If you want to run, you can but only know that there will be punishment waiting for you. Keep that in mind."

Her face was got paler after every sentence that Ruki said.

"HAHA. Look at her face. It's like she's begging us for mercy." I touched her cheek with my fingernail, dragging it down teasingly. "You won't get what you want Pierro."

She stood up slowly, looking a bit sad. Her eyes connected with the picture sitting on Ruki's nightstand, the one when he was an aristocrat. The black and white picture still reminds him of his past and haunts him today. I put the picture down softly, blocking Yui's view from it.

"That's enough," I said softly.

I didn't have to look at Ruki to know that he had a painful expression on his face, the vivid memories popping up.

"I-I'm sorry!"

"Eve, huh?"

Ruki began walking to Yui, backing her into the door. I just took a seat on the bed after picking up my knife, already knowing what was gonna happen.

"To think that the one He told us to look for turned out to be a mediocre girl such as yourself."

He grabbed her waist and moved her hair off her shoulder.

"But, this must be done for our cause."

He bit down and the already overly sweet smell that came off her multiplied tenfold. I held my nose, trying to suppress my vampire urges, my fangs aching. Yui was struggling in his arms and noises of pain came from her throat. Ruki pulled away for a second, a grin on his face.

"I see, so this is the blood of Eve."

"Stop!"

She pushed Ruki away and began running towards the center of the room. She collapsed onto her knees next to a chair, panting heavily. I facepalmed at her stupidness.

"Pierro, if you want to escape, why would you come deeper into the room? The door would be the more reasonable choice. This is why humans irritate me."

Ruki grabbed Yui's arm and pulled her up, latching his fangs into her neck once more. He continued sucking, even after she passed out, skin color paling considerably.

"Ruki, that's enough. She's gonna die you know?"

I stood up and took her from my brother, laying her on the couch as gently as I could.

"I'm gonna head out, the smell of her in this fucking place is making me nauseous."

"Wait, take one of us with-"

I didn't let him finish as I appeared in town, breathing in the city air and the smell of pollution in gratefully. I began walking around the plaza aimlessly before I came across a piano store. I grinned, walking in, the smell of dust tickling my nose. There was no employee in the front, even as the bell rung as I walked in, but that just means fewer people I have to socialize with. I went to an open piano, sitting down before hitting a few keys with my finger. I cringed at the out of tune sound it produced. I stood up, sighing and turned to walk out when I hit something hard.

"Ow, you fucking retard, move out of the way if you see someone walking towards you."

The smell of smoke filled my nose, along with a hint of a forest. I couldn't help but lean into the smell, feeling comforted by it. I heard a soft, husky chuckle come from the chest I had hit and I looked up to see two blue orbs staring down at me. I yelped, jumping away and instantly, my defenses went up.

"What are you doing here?" I hissed.

"Hmm, I didn't know this was your store."

I made a 'tch' sound as I looked away, not liking his sarcasm. The blonde began walking closer and I backed away, not liking the distance between us.

"Do you play?" he asked bluntly.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't."

"Play for me."

"Haah? Are you fucking nuts? Who do you think you are commanding me?!"

He suddenly appeared in front of me and grabbed my arm, dragging me towards a back room. The room had a couch and a piano sitting in the center of it. He pushed me into the chair before lying on the couch, making himself comfortable.

"Hurry up," he muttered, closing his eyes.

I sighed, placing my fingers and playing a simple ballad, getting lost in my own thoughts. Some time must have passed because the male's face was now next to me, sniffing my neck.

"You smell like that woman."

Already knowing who he was talking about, I pushed him away but he grabbed my arm (he seemed to like doing that) and dug his nails in. I cringed, feeling blood coming out of the wound and his eyes glowed as the smell filled the room. His mouth began nearing it and I panicked.

"WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I'M A VAMPIRE TOO, YOU DON'T NEED MY BLOOD!"

He ignored my shouts and his tongue darted out, collecting the liquid off my arm. My face turned the color of my hair and he gave me the most sexiest grin I've ever seen.

"Hmph, for a half-blood, your blood is good." was all he said.

He opened his mouth, his fangs gleaming under the fluorescent lights. His intentions were clear so I used the same technique I used yesterday, kicking him in the junk. He groaned, letting me go and I used that opportunity to teleport out of the store, heading straight for the mansion. I stood in the living room, face hot and slightly out of breath. I worried for school tomorrow, reminded of the brothers who I hardly knew.

"I didn't even get his name."
