Hoshi's POV:
I sat in Shu's lap on the piano bench, legs draped across it as Shu kissed my neck. I was trying my best to play the piano but his kisses were distracting me to the point where I wasn't even forming a song.
"Shuuuu, I didn't invite you here to distract me."
"Shut up, you're mine so I can do what I want."
I sighed, turning around and grabbed his face.
"You're a tease, aren't you mister?"
"Only for you, princess."
I blushed, flicking his forehead. Ever since the little wolf scene, he's been calling me that nickname, knowing that it brings out a reaction from me. It's not a bad nickname, it's just really embarrassing.
"Stop with that nickname!" I whined.
"And if I say no?"
I pouted and faced forward, grabbing both his hands from my waist and setting it on the piano.
"Play for me," I whispered.
He sighed, putting his head on my shoulder and hit the keys softly with his delicate fingers, a sweet tune coming from it. I closed my eyes, getting lost in his playing until a thought came across.
"Neh, Shu. What was your past like?"
He paused, his fingers hovering over the keys. I turned around and saw that there was a dark expression on his face, the darkest one I've ever seen before.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't like, Shu."
"No...I'll only say it because it's you. My past was something no kid should ever experience. It was extremely suffocating as the firstborn, my mother was always pushing me to study and having fun didn't even exist in my dictionary. Unfortunately, Reiji looked up to my mother a lot but she always neglected him, which resulted in his hatred towards me now. The triplet's mother would always verbally abuse mine, challenging her to see whose son would win the throne. That only caused her to push me more."
I nodded, grabbing his hand and rubbing the back of it with my thumb.
"One day, I ended up snapping and ran away from home. I also ended up making a new friend," he paused. "His name was Edgar, otherwise know as Yuma now."
"Yuma? As in my brother, Yuma?"
I remembered when he and Shu fought, the blonde had muttered Edgar and didn't fight back.
"Yes. He was my only friend, everyone else in the household was turned against each other, no thanks to my father. Unfortunately, Yuma's village caught on fire and he ran into the flames, saying that he had to find his parents. That was the day I thought I had lost him, his body nowhere to be found. After his death, I had become numb, ignoring everyone and everything, only listening to music. Imagine my shock when I saw him at school, breathing and walking normally like he once had." he chuckled dryly. "And then I met you. The noisiest person next to the triplets. Your attitude needed some fixing up before but I realized that I liked you this way."
I giggled, snuggling into his chest.
"Keep praising me." I hummed.
"You're anything but feminine, in fact, your actions remind me of a boy."
I glared at him playfully and he chuckled, kissing in between my brows.
"But your eyes had a fire in them. One that I became curious about. Just like how you commented about the night sky, your eyes remind me of it. They twinkle like the stars above us. I can't say I hate that."
"Cute," I said, a soft smile on my face.
"So? What about your past?"
"Hmm, I can't say I remember much about it. Most of my life was spent in an orphanage where I was physically abused. I met my brothers when I was about five, instantly becoming friends when we were first introduced. They each have problems of their own but I wouldn't trade them for the world. We tried escaping the orphanage one day but that didn't work. I ended up getting shot in the chest, nearly killed if it wasn't for your father."
"My father saved you?" he asked.
I nodded, looking into his blue eyes.
"I didn't trust him one bit because what use does he have for five random kids that he found in the forest? It all seemed a little fishy to me. I still don't trust him today, he's a fucking perv. But thanks to him, I got to meet the laziest person in the world."
I stroked his cheek softly, his eyes closing as he leaned into my touch.
"This is really embarrassing to tell you, but I used to have dreams where only your eyes appeared. It was really weird, like the man up there was telling me something. I recognized your eyes when we made your limo crash and I panicked, not knowing what to do."
"Heh, you dreamt of me? What a lewd princess."
"Shut up. Anyways, when you kidnapped me, it was a constant war of attraction and hate towards you. You were definitely too hot for one woman to handle for herself but you were also very pushy and all you did was sleep. But I guess the attraction won because here we are, in each other's arms. You managed to win me over with your laziness and your kisses. My brothers, well, everyone but Azusa, doesn't approve of you but I only want to follow my heart, to do what feels right."
"So? Does it feel right in my arms?"
"I don't know, does it, Sleeping Beauty?" I teased, wrapping my arms around his shoulder.
"Hmm, I guess it's alright. You're definitely better than hugging a pillow."
"How sweet," I muttered sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"Heh, your blood and your body aren't bad either. Your erotic face turns me on too," he said, moving his hands up and down my waist while settling his head in between my breasts.
"Do you only think with your dick?"
"Maybe." he yawned.
I rolled my eyes, giggling as he rubbed his head against me.
"You're a pervert, you know that Shu?"
"You've told me a thousand times, woman."
"Just thought I had to tell you one more time."
He suddenly sat straight up, grabbing my face with both his hands. My teasing face softened as I stared into Shu's eyes, getting lost in them.
"I love you, Princess."
"I want to hear my real name, not Princess."
He leaned closer, his lips brushing against mine in a soft manner.
"I love you, Hoshi."
I grinned, my eyes twinkling with joy and affection.
"I love you too, Shu."
And with that, I sealed the kiss, the moon and the stars smiling down brightly through the window on the two of us.
