Hoshi's POV:
"Don't drink anything he gives you," Shu said, sitting on the bed.
"You said that five times already."
"I'm trying to warn you. There's a high chance that he'll either kill you entirely or paralyze you."
Reiji had called me into his room and I tried to protest but he didn't let me, warning me that he would send me to the dungeon if I didn't go.
"Okay, so don't drink his little drinks. Anything else I need to know?"
"Not right now, but if you need something, yell."
I sighed, nodding and teleported in front of Reiji's room. I knocked a few times, a muffled 'come in' sounding through the wood door. I opened it and saw Reiji standing next to his little chemistry table, mixing some liquids together.
"Please take a seat."
I nodded, taking one of the chairs. He sat across from me, one cup of tea placed in front of him. He began drinking it, looking at me for a reaction. I only rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"So? What did you call me in for Glasses?"
"Did you think that I was going to pour a cup of tea for you? How selfish can you get?"
"Woah, woah, woah. I didn't even fucking mention tea. And I don't need any, I'm more of a water kind of girl."
"I will get a cup of tea for you," he said, standing up abruptly.
"I don't want any of your fucking tea-"
He was already pouring it in a cup, back blocking my view. But I didn't need to visually see to know that he was drugging my drink. He placed the cup in front of me before sitting down, looking at me expectedly.
"I asked what I'm here for Glasses, not to drink some fucking tea with my pinky up in the air."
"I would watch your language if I were you. It is impolite to not drink what I have offered you."
"You're not offering because I clearly said no but you're trying to force this to me. I can already smell the medicine from here idiot."
His eyebrow twitched in irritation and he suddenly stood in front of me, pulling my hair with his hand. I didn't cry out but I flinched as he grabbed my chin and forced my mouth open.
"You will drink it."
In a blink of an eye, he forced the liquid into my mouth but I refused to swallow. He covered my mouth with his hand while pinching my nose, preventing any air from getting into my body. I thrashed around, giving him a glare while his red eyes danced with amusement.
"Swallow."
Not able to take any more, I swallowed and he let go, grabbing his notebook. I coughed, eyes watery as I desperately got oxygen back into my lungs.
"You sick fucker." I coughed.
"The effects should be starting soon."
I grabbed the now empty cup, throwing it at the wall in rage and breathing hard. I began losing feeling in my legs and I collapsed onto the ground, clenching my fists.
"For the reason of why I called you here, I would like to discuss you and that deadbeat. I've seen the way you two look at each other and it makes me truly disgusted that I have to witness that. Please end whatever relationship you have with him."
I lost feeling in my lower body, only able to move my face.
"Hah, to me, it just seems like you're jealous."
His hand suddenly reached out for my throat, squeezing lightly.
"I would appreciate if you don't make those kinds of comments lightly."
"I do what I want. You're jealous of him. I can always see the hate and envy in your eyes when you look at him. What a bad habit you have, comparing yourself to him constantly and trying to measure up. Well, let me tell it to you straight. You need to be your own person Glasses, or else you're never going to be able to break this little hate relationship you have with Shu."
He growled and it was like slow motion, his mouth going directly for my jugular.
"Shu," I whispered.
The door slammed open and there stood the very man's name that I had called out, his blue orbs swimming with rage.
"Reiji, I warned you not to hurt her didn't I?"
Shu had Reiji up against the wall by his collar.
"Try it again and I'll show you who the real head of this household is."
He let him go before walking to me, carrying me bridal style and walking towards the door.
"Wait."
He looked down at me before doing what I asked and I looked over Shu's shoulder. I made eye-contact with Reiji, his face scrunched up in anger.
"Think about what I said seriously, Reiji."
Shu took that as a sign to teleport back into his room, laying my numb body on the bed.
"I shouldn't have let you go."
"I'm fine, Shu. It's just a bit numb in my body."
He sighed heavily, lying on the other side of me and helping me onto my side. He put an earbud in my ear, an unrecognizable song playing.
"Is this you?" I asked.
"Hmm, just something I came up with." he yawned.
I stayed silent, imagining the lazy boy in front of me playing the violin. It was a nice image.
"Will you play for me one day?" I asked him.
"Come ditch class with me tomorrow and I'll do it."
"Okay."
The comfortable silence enveloped us once again, only our breathing and the music ringing throughout the dark room. Shu had his eyes closed, as usual, and I studied his face. I shook my left hand, able to get some feeling back into it. I used that arm to touch his face all over, his eyes opening in amusement.
"You know, it's not fair that you're this pretty," I said, touching his hair.
"Don't call me pretty."
"I'm only stating facts here. You are unbelievably and undeniably pretty."
He growled, getting on top of me, my hand in his.
"Lewd woman, I'll teach you to obey me."
He brought my pointer finger up to his mouth, sinking his fangs into the think skin. He looked at me with his bright blue eyes, a smile plastered on his face. Shu made audible gulps, looking for a reaction. I only stared at him, a challenging look on my face. He pulled away from my finger, looping his hand under my waist and pulled me up, ripping my shirt open, my bra showing. I turned a bright red and he looked satisfied with that reaction, biting onto my upper left breast. I groaned, closing my eyes as he sucked lazily, not appreciating the teasing he was doing. He finished quickly, leaving a teasing swipe of his tongue before collapsing on the bed next to me like it took him a lot of energy just to suck my blood.
"You stupid pervert." I sighed.
"Heh, you liked it anyway."
"Shut up. Go to sleep."
He yawned, pulling me closer.
"Goodnight."
For the first time in my life, I felt my heart ache as I looked at the boy in front of me. What could this feeling be?
"Goodnight."
