The tears filled my eyes as the words on the paper went blury, i can honestly say i have never been so sure of an answer in my life. I picked up the pen off the floor and ticked the box without even thinking twice. My heart was racing but I tried my best to stay calm and roll over and pretend to sleep. Five minutes later I heard the shower stop and the bedroom door open, the foot steps towards the bed almost sent my over the edge as my heart began doing summersalts in my chest.

I felt the bed move as Phil sat down and picked up the piece of paper, then suddenly I felt a warm feeling on my cheek. I opened my eyes to see Phil kissing my cheek with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. I threw my arms around his neck and pulled him ontop of me and began kissing him. It felt right and i can't believe it took me so long to do this, he makes me so happy and now he's finally mine.

After about 10 minutes of kissing and stopping for a breath every few minutes we finally both got into bed, it was way too early to go to sleep so Phil decided to put on a movie. I didn't know what the film was and I didn't care, i just lay on Phils' chest and holding him tight.

It wasn't long until I fell asleep, Phil just made me feel so calm and relaxed. For the first time in years I went to sleep happy.
