^he so cute

Jeremy's POV
School. Oh god school.
I don't think I've missed school this much in my life. I didn't even care that my dad was dropping me off, in fact I preferred it. I wasn't walking by myself again for... a long time.

I hopped out of my dad's car.
"Jeremy!" He called behind me. I spun around.
"Be careful. I love you." He said.
"Bye Dad." I smiled.

I gripped my book-bag straps tighter and walked inside. The moment I stepped in, all talking stopped. Kids looked at me like I was a leprechaun that just walked in.

"Jeremy!" Some kid called out.
Students were crowding me, asking me questions, yelling. I was starting to hyperventilate.
Who were these kids? They didn't even know I was alive a few weeks ago!

A hand grabbed my arm and pulled me away.
I was about to scream, but a hand went over my mouth, and Jake stood in front of me smiling.

"Sorry man, didn't mean to scare you."
I smiled and pulled his hand down, hugging him tightly.
"Oh my god it's so good to see you!" I yelled.
He threw his hand up for a high-five and I slapped it.
My sleeve slipped down a little, revealing my star-shaped scar. He frowned.

I laughed awkwardly and yanked my sleeve down. He grabbed it and pulled my sleeve back up.
"Dude, what is this?"
"N-Nothing. It's fine."
He raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off.

"Let's go see everybody, okay?" I smiled and nodded.
We walked down to our lockers, and there was a group of kids standing there, faces I haven't seen in so long.

Michael, Brooke, Rich, and Jenna were hugging and talking with Chloe and Christine.
Rich turned his head and saw me.
"Jeremy!!"
Everybody turned and saw me too, running and hugging.

Jake grabbed Chloe's wrist and pulled her sleeve up, revealing her star-shaped scar.
"Okay, what is this thing?" Chloe went red.

Christine cleared her throat awkwardly and turned her arm over, showing her scar as well.
"That's how he marked us, okay? Now enough about that!" She said abruptly.
I frankly, agreed with her.
I pulled her close to me and kissed her forehead. She giggled, her cute little giggle.

I looked to our friends, and Michael's sad expression stuck out.
Y/N was still in the hospital.
I put my hand on his shoulder.
"She's going to be okay, alright?"
"Yah." Chloe said. "She really stuck up for us in there."
I nodded.

Michael sighed and pushed my arm away.
"Why'd you let her?" He whispered.
I didn't know how to respond.

"I think..." Christine started. "When you're in a situation like that, it's survival mode. She just put our survival before her's. We should of been like that. I'm sorry Michael."
He sniffed and hugged Christine.
"It's not your fault. It's... whatever that's guy's name was."

"I just called him glasses." I laughed.
"I called him freak." Chloe spat.
Christine sighed. "I called him Dave. He looked like a Dave."

Rrrrrrriiinnnnggg

The bell rang.
"Ugh, time for class. All these kids keep acting like they know us." Chloe frowned.
Brooke laughed.
"Most of them probably knew you before."
"Whatever."

I walked to my next class, Christine at my hip.
It psychically hurt me to watch her get hurt all those times. I wouldn't let her go again.
