Noah's P.O.V

Maths is by far the most boring subject in the whole wide world. And what a coincidence, math was the first class we had on the first day of school. I really didn't know what to do, I was blankly staring at the wall with no hopes of survival, however, I later started scanning my classmates trying to find something to stare at. My eyes moved in every direction, hopeless until they spotted Laela's beautiful silhouette: She's just perfect. There is something in the way she laughs that traps my emotions into a never-ending rollercoaster. Oh no, it was happening again, I always had the biggest crush on Laela but I never had the courage to tell her. I ripped the last page of my book and started writing a note. Then I rolled it up and folded it carefully. Finally, I put it inside a pen and threw it to Hailey. I could literally tell her anything in the world and she would understand, she is definitely one of my best friends. She opened up the note "Laela is just so cute IDK what to do bout it ". Hailey looked at me straight into my eyes with her profound gaze. She beamed at me, and then started writing on the piece of paper. She folded it, placed it inside the pen and threw it back to me.

"she is tough, but I think we can make it. I'll help you through it, don't you worry, leave it to me"

She looked at me and smiled sweetly, I smiled back. I wrote another message and threw it back to her. "What bout u? Any crushes so far?" She threw the note back to me

" Idk quite confused, I reckon I find Cam quite cute ;) I couldn't stop staring him this mornin'"

I was shocked, I never expected that from Hailey. I mean, why Cameron? I didn't think I've ever seen them talk. "Kk we'll manage" I answered. The lesson was eventually over, but I couldn't stop thinking about what she told me for the rest of the day. Hailey liking Cameron... What next? Is Laela liking me back?

Lexi's P.O.V.

I never liked anyone before, and by that, I mean seriously liking someone. I sure had some boyfriends and stuff, but I never really felt anything for them: I only had them to rise on the scale of popularity. I just find it so much more interesting to gossip about everyone else. However, this summer I got into some serious love drama. It all started when Cameron told Laela about Noah, telling her that they were in love and that they totally had to go out... In the beginning, it was all a simple joke, but soon Laela started to get annoyed. To get back at him, she started telling Cameron that he should totally go out with me. I mean, it wasn't true, we all knew that, right? Apparently Laela completely convinced him that I was crazy in love with him, and there is a rumor going on that he is actually starting to like me back! What on earth is going on! The funniest part of it all is that my contacts are pretty confident that Hailey likes Cameron. I guess that for now, I'll flirt a little with him- it doesn't mean anything, it's just to annoy Hailey, that's all.

However, in maths, I was in shock. I was completely 100% confident that Noah liked Laela, I mean, everyone knew that. I made sure of it. But he was like looking at Hailey all the time, they were like constantly staring at each other and smiling, sooo cheesy. I know for a fact that something is going on between them. I am excited to see what the future awaits!
