Hailey P.O.V

The first weeks of school went by so quickly I could barely remember a full day.  Noah and I spent every single afternoon face timing, then we texted from 23:00 to 1:30. It had become a little routine. We always planned hilarious ideas on how to make our crushes like us back. Most of the time we just made fun of ourselves but our friendship grew closer and closer. We both started to develop true feelings toward our crushes. I learned another part of his personality. Everyone thinks he is just the cool, fun guy. And don't get me wrong, he really is, but I realized he is much more than just that.

I found out that he is a true and honest person: he doesn't want to make out with someone for the sake of doing it. He really wants to feel something special for his crush, and therefore he is actually quite romantic too. Noah is also a very valuable and passionate person, and he wants Laela to like him back like REALLY badly. This was going to be hard. Every day we included her and Cameron into our little note exchange. We played games such as truth or dare and would you rather with our crushes, and it really helped us to flirt with them and to actually get to know them a little better. We would laugh and mess around in classes, feeling the bonds between us grow bigger, stronger and closer. I enjoyed their company, but the more time I spent with them, the more I realized that we were falling into a complicated but inevitable love rectangle.
