EVANORA
I'm not sure in what his deal is but I guess maybe I was wrong. Maybe the rumors were true and he was just pretending to be nice or was even bullshitting me the other night while we talked.
So I guess all werewolves are the same-egotistical, self absorbed and just overall temperamental assholes.
I decide I was going to ignore him and for the next couple of days was doing a real good job at it too.
I had thought about removing the werewolf barrier because it turns out Payton has a thing for the Beta of the pack and he has wanted to come over so I removed it yesterday.
I'm not against then being together and since everybody already knows that the Moon Goddess has removed the idea about them being destined with a mate, I decided I would just let it be.
While in the shop, it was pretty slow today and I was just putting things up on the shelves to restock and while doing so, I heard the 'ding' noise I hear whenever the front door opens.
"Take a seat anywhere and feel free to look around, I'll be with you in a moment." I tell the person before even turning around and moments later, I turn and am surprised to say the least as I see it's Alpha Caspian.
I don't say anything and instead turn my back on him and quickly try and think of something to do.
What the hell is he doing here? He has some nerve after how rude he was to me for no reason the other night. But, he is a customer. So I take in a deep breath then turn around and look at him.
"So how can I help you?" I ask.
"What do you recommend?" He smirks.
"There isn't much I have here that would probably interest you." I tell him.
"What about the poison apple?" He asks.
"You couldn't handle it. Besides, only the STRONG magical ones can handle it." I smirked.
"I'll try it." He insists.
"Fine." I agree.
I turned my back to him as I started making it and then once I was finished, I handed him the drink which was a green drink with some red flames coming out from the top.
He looks at me intently while I continue to look right back at him wondering what he'll think of it and since he's the first non magical creature to try it, I'm curious to see as to what will happen.
He never breaks eye contact with me as he downs the drink in one gulp and just smiles in satisfaction.
I am surprised to be honest he even did it in the first place, but then again he always seems to be full of surprises.
"Delicious." He smirks.
"I'm impressed." I admit.
We share a moment of silence before he says anything else.
"So I came here to apologize for the other night. I didn't mean to snap at you. I had a bad day and shouldn't have taken it out on you." He begins.
"It is what it is." I shrug while grabbing his glass and placing them in the sink there.
"Look, I'm not good at apologies. But I really am sorry and would like us to start over." He says.
I look at him not fully believing him entirely yet but something I can't explain is telling me to give him another chance. So I take in a deep breath and let it out.
"Alright. I'll give you one more chance. But this better not be one of your stupid tricks because if I find out otherwise, you will regret it." I warn him as I lean over the counter on my elbows at him as he leans in a little closer also.
"I promise." He replies.
We look at each other for a moment more until we hear the door open and in walks my number one customer.
He stands there and glares at Caspian while Caspian sniffs the air and then turns his head at the guy and they both glare at one another looking as though they want to hurt each other.
"Hey, have a seat and I'll go get the oils you wanted." I tell him trying to distract them both.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
