CHAPTER 15: Hopefully We Can Figure This Out

Okay, so THAT just happened and out of nowhere might I add. I can't believe I allowed it but, he's so hot and I don't know, I'm starting to think that maybe he's not so bad after all. 

So after that hot scene, when we walked out of the room and walked back to where everybody was still standing at waiting. 

"Alright so, me and some of the guys will come and help you guys move today." Caspian says to all of us. 

"Thanks, that'll be great." I smiled in reply. 

We all get into out trucks and cars, then make our way toward's Payton's and my place and we immediately begin to pack up most of our things that we need really and just leave the little bit of furniture we have there and begin to leave after loading up the last load. 

It in a way kind of sucked because we had to leave but at the same time, the most important thing I got to keep was I could still operate my shop and keep it opened. 

Once we all headed back to the pack's house and well, mine and Payton's new home now, we immediately started unpacking and putting things away. 

Caspian was right in the fact that it was a lot quicker with them to help us and less trips we had to make. 

When we had finally finished, it was close to dinner time and both Payton and hadn't really eaten so we decided to order out since we all were exhausted from the moving. 

It was nice enough for Caspian to give both Payton and I a room of our own and to have it furnished already, not to mention us having our own bathrooms and my room being 'conveniently' located right next door to his. 

While waiting for food to arrive, we all sat around in the living room taking and getting to know each other, when somebody asks something. 

"So, I'm sorry, but are you both together now?" One of his pack members asked. 

"We don't know yet. Why?" Caspian asks in reply. "Not that it's any of your damn business anyways." He adds. 

"Forgive me Alpha, but it is. Because even though the Moon Goddess had given us 'free-range' in a way, doesn't necessarily mean we get with just anybody." The guy says while scowling at me. 

"Jealous much?" I joke with him. 

However, by the look on his face, I could tell he wasn't too happy about that joke. 

"You kind disgusts me." He snaps at me. 

"Watch it." Caspian glares at him. 

"This goes against everything we have been taught." The guy states as he stands up and starts to leave. 

We all sit there sharing an awkward moment of silence between all of us before Caspian says anything.

"Does everybody feel that way?" He asks. 

Nobody looks at us or says anything until finally his Beta does. 

"It's your decision Alpha and your life. It is not up to us to decide. We follow." Beta says. 

Suddenly I have lost my appetite. Is this all too fast? Was what we did back in the office, was that just out of pure lust or was there also any feelings and or meaning behind it? I felt it meant something but maybe this could affect him and me and our positions among our kinds.

Although the Moon Goddess took away their kind and the whole 'mate' thing, doesn't mean she changed the law neither, which clearly stated our kinds can't be together, ever. 

"I'm actually really tired. I think I'll go to bed." I say even though it's almost dark but not yet for another fifteen minutes. 

"don't leave." I hear Caspian say. 

"It's cool. I'm really tired, honestly." I smile at him for reassurance. 

Payton decides to stay up and I'm glad. Then a moment after entering my room and closing the door behind me. I sit on the bed and begin to think about what that guy said. In a way, he did have a point. 

Yet, I also do feel something for Caspian and get the feeling he does with me too. 

Can we risk everything? SHOULD we risk everything? What if it doesn't work out?

I'm quickly taken out of my thoughts as I hear a knock on my door and after telling them to come in, I'm actually relieved to see that it's Caspian. Hopefully we can figure this all out.
