EPILOGUE: 6 Years Later

EVANORA

Things were never the same after all that happened that day. No one will ever forget everything Caspian and I had been through.

Some believed we were brave and were heroes when honestly, we were neither really. Just did what was right.

The Head Elders from both councils announced me and Caspian as councilmen of our kinds, next to them.

Both Caspian and I after finding out that the Moon Goddess had put us together for a reason and that it was to prove to others that all kinds can be happy and that in the end deep down inside we all have the ability to live one another. Our hearts want they want and that she is merely there to push fate a little but the rest was up to us always.

All the demon DNA stuff of course was out from his system and about a year later, he was not just all better but had announced at the annual Wolf's Ball that we were mates.

Then a year after that, we were married and  nine months later were pregnant with our twin sons, Kadence and Hayden.

Things have been moving by very fast and neither one of us has time to stop but we love it. We love the fact that we're together and we also love it how we are high in our councils along with of course being blessed with our two strong boys.

I had also learned a lot about both of my parents. That day I had been helped by the both of them in order to defeat LaVarkin's dad and later on after the head elders and Caspian as well as the rest of us were healed, I had asked the elders about both my parents and finding out what they did with being demon hunters.

I couldn't ask for a better life thus far and wouldn't even think about having another.

"Mommy!" I heard my boys yell out at the same time as they ran towards me after running in from the back door.

"Hey boys." I smile in excitement just as I finish making dinner and hug them both at once before kneeling down to kiss them on their foreheads. "Did you guys have fun?" I asked them both.

"Yeah! You should have been there! Dad showed us all these neat tricks in shifting quickly." Kadence started telling me in excitement.

"That's good. You boys both started to shift just last year and have caught on so quickly. I'd like to see this tonight after dinner." I tell them.

"Yeah!" They say in unison both excited.

"Oh and guess what dad did? He had us feel what it was like getting a tattoo!" Kadence said and Hayden immediately nudged his side with his elbow.

"What did he do?" I asked making sure I heard him correctly.

"Um, nothing. He just showed us how to shift quickly." He tries covering up.

"How is it that he made you feel what it was like to get a tattoo?!" I asked them both.

The back door then closed and in walked Beta and Caspian both laughing then stopped once they saw me glaring at them both.

I then sent the boys upstairs to get washed up for dinner then looked back at the guys.

"Whatever it is that's bad, he did it." Beta tells me while pointing to Caspian.

"Oh don't worry. You aren't in trouble Beta. It definitely is my husband." I reply while looking at Caspian.

"What's wrong baby?" He asks hesitantly.

"What's this I hear about you letting OUR son experience what it is like to have a tattoo?!" I asked with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Did they tell you that?" He jokingly laughs.

"I'm serious." I look at him.

"It's really not a big deal. I mean, they both asked me what it felt like and I took a clean un-inked needle from my gun, turned on the machine and gave them a dot. They didn't bleed or anything." He says like it's no big deal.

"I don't care. You were just supposed to teach them about shifting quickly and that's it. Not take them to the shop and give them a dot." I tell him.

"I'm sorry babe." He begins to pout in a cute adorable way that also makes him look even sexier.

"Nope. Not going to work with me this time. But we will discuss your punishment later. Right now, you both go and clean up for dinner." I tell them.

They both turn around to start heading upstairs to use the bathroom to freshen up while I bend over and try to take out the casserole.

Then after placing the casserole down on top of the stove, I feel two arms wrap around my waist and a few kisses being placed on the side of my neck.

"I'm sorry baby." He tells me in between kisses. "I promise I will never do it again."

"Uh-huh." I tell him.

"Come on, you can't be upset with me." He says as he continues to kiss me.

I turn around and look into his eyes then at his lips and we lean in to kiss one another before I then looked at him with my head back a little after feeling the bulge in his pants touch my leg and smile at him.

"You still have to be punished for not discussing that little stunt you pulled with me beforehand. So..." I began to say closer to his ear while moving my hand down over his bulge making it twitch a little bit, I hear him moan then tell him in his ear.

"You're gonna have to hide that during dinner." I giggle in satisfaction before kissing him on the lips and turning back around to finish preparing dinner.

"Baby you can't do that. You know I can't hide it. It'll drive me crazy. I need to take care of this now." He says.

"Nope, later. When I say." I reply with satisfaction.

He growls and then turns me around and pulls me closer against his body again.

"No teasing. You know I can't stand that." He says as he leans in for a kiss.

I pull my head back before he can and smile.

"Too bad." I wink at him and before he can do or say anything, the boys came running out along with Beta and then Payton walked in the front door with some wine.

"Sorry I'm late." She says.

"You're not." I immediately push him away and try to hold in my laughter.

All throughout dinner and after Payton went home and Beta along with the boys went off to bed, I barely had any time to do anything at all once I stepped inside of our bedroom. He right away closed the door then ripped off my clothes and devoured me and my entire body throughout the rest of the night.

I must say that as crazy as it sounded at first, I did quite enjoy the Moon Goddess' Challenge. She is after all the reason I am going to live happily ever after.
