CHAPTER 21: Let's Fly!

I woke up to someone lightly shaking me and had forgotten until I opened my eyes that Caspian had joined me on this flight. Which made me smile as I looked at him and he was smiling back.

He gave me a kiss and told me we had landed. Then he took my hand and grabbed his backpack while I put the strap to my bag over my shoulder and then we began walking.

The moment we got off the plane and started heading towards the front of the airport to rent a car, we saw Payton and  Caspian's Beta that were standing right in front of our gate.

"How did you guys get here so fast? And what are you guys doing here?" I ask.

"We caught last minute flight. Okay, I lied." Beta says. "I begged for Payton here to give me a ride on her broomstick and she said it was faster." He says.

"Oh yeah?" I asked looking at her in shock as I never thought I would see the day she would use that thing to transport over a wolf. But then again, I'm just teasing her.

"Yeah well, I couldn't let you do this alone. You're my best friend and like a sister to me. We've always been there for each other and I'm not gonna change that." She tells me with tears in her eyes.

I can't help but smile and feel real happy she decided to come here.

"Okay, so let's all head out." Caspian says.

"Bro, you've got to try riding a broom. It's bad ass." Beta tells Caspian under his voice so that nobody of course could hear him.

When we get outside, Payton mentions that it will take longer to find the witches place by car and suggested instead that we took our brooms.

"How can we do that? I mean there's too many people here." I point out.

We all begin looking around and then spotted a dark spot in the parking lot that surprisingly didn't have many cars in. Then again, this isn't a very big airport.

When we got to the place, we took out our brooms and both Caspian's and Beta's face expressions were priceless as they looked amazed at my broom being pulled out from my bag.

"What the hell?" Caspian asks amazed.

"I'll tell you later. In the meantime, hop on the back." I tell him while straddling the broom as Payton and Beta climbs onto hers and he puts his arms around her waist.

"Okay." Caspian says a little uncomfortable.

"Just think of it as a motorcycle." I smile at him.

He gets on the back and straddles the broom with his arms wrapped tightly around me. Both her and I look at one another and nod then we start to quickly lift up into the air where I hear Beta yelling in excitement and Caspian squeezing a little tighter around my waist.

"Woah." He says.

"You okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah. It's just weird." He says.

Next he puts his hood over his head as I do with mine and then we start heading off. Moments later he begins to loosen up a little on how tight his arms are around my waist and then kisses me on the side of my neck.

"This is awesome baby." He smiles at me.

"Yeah?" I smiled back at him. "Just wait." I tell him.

"For what?" He asks.

I start to lean forward a little more and swerve in and out of clouds then go above them before starting to slow down.

I swear it was like a kid lighting up with a huge smile on their face as if they were on a ride at a theme park and were having the best time of their life.

This felt nice as well. It felt special and he was the first person, other than Payton, to ever ride on my broom.
