EVANORA

One of the main reasons I chose to open my shop at the location I did was because it had the entrance to the woods right behind it where I had found a little place was peaceful and where I could go to and wouldn't be disturbed at.

Nobody else has ever been here so it's perfect. At least that's how I thought until I got the sense I was being watched before I heard the snapping of a stick.

Quickly I stopped the videos of the memories with my parents and blew out the candles, worried it could be a human and rushed as I put things away into my bag.

The moment I stand up, I start to look around and don't see anything right away but yet feel something evil. Then out through the darkness, the person steps into the moonlight and I see it's LeVarkin. The leader's son of all demons from the underworld.

"LeVarkin." I say surprised.

"My my my, it has been such a long time." He grins with his all black eyes as they pierced through me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked with disgust.

"Just checking to see how my father's favorite witch is doing." He says.

"Still not ever giving him what he wants." I say.

"Oh please. You know what happened to your mother when she refused. Not to mention your father." He smirks.

"Don't you ever speak of their names again." I warn him as I slowly and sneekingly try to read behind me for my wand in my back pocket.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He says.

"I'm not afraid of your father or you. You both are an abomination." I spit at him.

He gets more infuriated as he flares his nostrils and before I have a chance to reach for my wand again,  he raises me by the throat with an invisible force starts choking me.

"You will obey my father and I and you WILL give us your powers." He says.

I struggle to try and break free from his grasp until he finally let's me go and has me fall onto the ground.

While I begin to fade in and out of consciousness, i hear a growl come from out of nowhere, followed by a wolf's figure who leaps out and knocks LaVarkin down.

I struggle to catch my breath until finally I do and also can see better. That's when I see the demon disappear and the wolfs is standing there, growling at the spot LaVarkin was just at.

He next snaps his head back at me ad while still showing his razor sharp canines, he begins to slowly walk towards me.

"Thank you." I tell it. "Who are you?" I ask.

It looks away and then takes off back into the woods but as I began to stand up and get ready to head home, I heard rustling coming from the direction where the wolf had just taken off in. So I stand and wait until I hear the footsteps coming closer.

Seconds later, a tall muscular male came walking towards me and into the moonlight showing me it was Caspian with a scowl on his face.

"It was YOU who saved me just now?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah." He says. "But don't expect it to happen again."

"Excuse me? What the hell is your deal with me? Also, what were you even doing out here?" I asked annoyed by his attitude.

"You don't own the woods." He snaps at me.

"Neither do you." I glare back at him.

"Seriously, I don't know what the hell I did to piss you off but really need to work on that." I tell him before I stomp off.

"Hey!" He calls out to me but I don't stop. Then I see him suddenly jump in front of me. "What the hell was that all about back there?"

"None of your business." I say while I try to walk around him but he stops me.

"Hey, I just helped save your life. The least you can do is tell me what it was about." He says.

I can't tell him. I don't trust him enough to tell him about what's going on but it's not what I'm sure he's thinking it is.
