< 💣 B POV 💣 >
It's from then on, things get REALLY fuzzy. Like so fuzzy I can't remember what happened exactly. I remember in flashes of light. A wall here, Jackson, people dancing here, purple, loud music, Jackson, soft hair, Jackson, Jackson, JACKSON! The only solid thing in my memory from that night is him.
When my memory begins coming back to me is around 3 in the morning, meaning I'm missing approximately 3 hours of my life. And the only thing I know about those 3 hours was that I spent then with Jackson and that I managed to move from the pack house and party to a clearing deep within the forest.
The thing is, when one does not remember the events of the past few hours and one is still rather drunk, one tends to make a lot of easily avoidable and rather stupid mistakes. In order here are first 10 mistakes:
1. Agreeing
2. Standing
3. Bending
4. Leaving
5. Reentering
6. Turning
7. Retreating
8. Running
9. Fighting
10. Submitting
I 'woke up' leaning against a boulder with Jackson to my left and my head against his muscular shoulder. I was fiddling with the end of my plait and listening to whatever Jack was saying.
Mistake No.1 - "...So what do you think?" he asked. "What?" I said, feeling SUPER confused. "I asked if you think we could be friends, not mates, just friends?... so that our wolves don't die? well don't die AS SOON?" before I knew what I was doing I was blindly nodding my head. "I think I could cope with that" I said.
I hadn't thought about that solution to our problem. Lol, jokes, of course I had. I have thought about every possible solution that could be done with our resources and technology. I wasn't going to suggest it, but seeing as it was 'his idea', I was perfectly happy to comply to mutual friendship.
Mistake No.2 - "It's getting late, lol, it's getting early, so I should be heading back" I said while getting up. "Wait" I said, pausing my movement. "I'm my own guardian so I can stay out as long as I like!" for some reason Jackson still hasn't said anything so I turned around to question him.
It turns out that he was too busy staring at my butt to listen to me, because my dress had ridden up my legs and practically looked underpants length at that point.
Mistake No.3 - "Um are you okay?" I asked while quickly pulling down the hem of my dress and bending down so we were looking eye to eye. This unfortunately made me notice just how dark his eyes has gotten, and also gave him the perfect view down my shirt. And his eyes only got darker.
Mistake No. 4 - I coughed awkwardly and shuffled away out of the clearing, in the wrong direction. After a minute of walking I realised had not thought at all about which way I had exited the clearing and had been simply focussing on the EXIT part and I therefore had little to no knowledge of where the hell I was.
Mistake No.5 - I made my way back to clearing, thoroughly disorientated and unable to remember the directions of travel I had previously executed in my intoxicated state.
Jack was still sitting where he was before I left, approximately 3 minutes before my re-entrance, and when I came back his eyes widened. "Where the fuck is the right way?" I asked frustrated and annoyed at myself. Jack made no attempt to direct me and I huffed in annoyance at him now.
