Alana's POV

I stopped what I was doing and stared at the clock. I have 20 minuets to decide what side I'm choosing. Shit.

I ran out of the library and never stopped running. Everything between pros and cons blasted through my head as I made my way to Niall's house. The war has begun. What does this mean?

It took almost the whole time to figure what side I'm choosig. But I've finally decided.

I made it to Niall's house, out of breath and panting for air. "Alana! Get inside!" Niall pulled me in and embraced me quickly, tears were running down his face. I held onto him tightly, as if he were about to vanish at any given moment.

"When do we leave?" I asked, still holding him close.

"Tonight. The whole pack and the other stray wolves are here. This is all we have." He brung me to the backyard, full of people. This is a lot. How could he say this is small? "Excuse me everyone! If I may please have your attention!" Everyone glanced at Niall, and got in a group. "This is Alana Holland. Decendent of both Esmeralda and Jade." I smiled lightly at everyone who then bowed down on their knees. My eyes widened in shock.

"Princess Alana." They said in unison. P-Princess?

"H-hey." I'm still in utter shock.

"We have all gathered because the Tomlinson's and the Winters have finally took refuge and have begun their march towards Madrak valley. We have to get there soon. So we can fight, and so we can see who Alana has chosen to side with." They all nodded and stared at me. "But as for now, relax, or train. We have till midnight until we head to Madrak." They all responded with a yes and moved to seperate areas, to either train or relax. "Alana, come with me."

Niall pulled me into the house and upstairs. My heart was pounding rapidly as he opened his bedroom door. When he closed it, he gazed at me as I sat on his bed. "Care to explain more?" He knows I'm worried and upset, I can tell.

"I-I..." he plopped down next to me and layed staring at the ceiling. I followed his actions and rested my head on his arm that was behind his head. "If I die out there, what will you do?" He broke the awkward silence.

Do I even know the answer to that question?

"I don't know Niall." I sighed and closed my eyes. The next thing I knew, my arms were pinned above my head and Niall was over my body. His eyes turned orange, and his fangs came out. You would probably almost believe he was a vampire, but his skin is much tanner.

His face was inches from mine. My heart quickened at the sudden contact of our bodies. He smiled down at me, and captured my lips in his. It was a simple kiss, but it instantly got more heated as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. I moaned out, not intentionally though. He thought of this as an opening to run his hands along my body.

"Niall..." I sighed as his lips attached to my neck. He started nipping at the skin that was there

"No matter what you choose, I'll always love you." He whispered, sending chills down my neck.

"I'll always love you too." I whispered back as his tongue licked the small bruise that has now formed on my neck. Shivers were sent down my spine. His fingers looped into the loops of my jeans gently tugging. I grabbed his hand, stopping him. "We aren't going to-"

"No, no, not now." He chuckled and brought his lips back to mine. His lips felt perfect against mine. Out of thought, my hands traveled to his hair, gently tugging at his roots. "Stay with me." He mumbled against my lips.

"Forever." I whispered my reply. He got off of me and layed down, bringing me into his chest. I closed my eyes while his breath went down my neck. He kissed the back of my neck lovingly, with the occasional nip here and there.

"If it only it were like this forever." He sighed and buried his face into my neck.

Yeah. If only.

*Jade's POV* (hehehe)

"Esmeralda, what are we going to do?" I spoke looking down at the hunters from the clouds.

"It all counts on Alana. She knows how to stop this war, it just has not quite settled yet."

"What if she knows that choosing-"

"She knows. I can somehow feel she knows it. Her mind is set on it, and she is not letting go."

"But she looses him."

"She might lose both, she might lose neither. It all depends on what happens in the war Jade."

"Ok, so I know I am one not to talk as much, but you? Damn." We chuckled softly before turning our gazes to Alana and Niall. "What if she dies?" I asked quietly.

"Then she will become a guardian like us, and watch over her family."

"Her wolf side is almost complete."

"As is her hunter side. Midnight she gets her half wolf. When she sees a hunter, she gets her half hunter side. Patience Jade."

"Hey! I'm older then you by a thousand years! You can not tell me to be patient when I've waited for you and you have never waited until now!" I sighed and Esmeralda smirked at me.

"Oh well."

And this is probably how we are going to spend the next hour or so.

There may be intespnse scenes coming up... not just the war... XD
