Alana's POV

It is now midnight, and there is this huge pain in my stomach. "Niall, what is happening?" I fell on the floor clutching my stomach. No one moved but Niall. He got on his knees next to me and looked me dead in my eye.

"It's not bad at all babe. It's the transistion to your half wolf side."

"Half wolf side? What the hell-"

"You are half wolf and half hunter. Your full wolf is almost complete." an elder spoke. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes.

"Then why the hell does this hurt so much?" I screamed.

"Niall, quickly go get her an ice pack." He quickly got up and brought back an ice pack and placed it on my stomach. I gared at the clock as it switched to 12:01. My eyes went blurry and I saw everything much clearer. I stood up, feeling no pain, and looked into the mirror. My eyes were orange. Not the normal blue looking, but orange. The exact opposite color.

"Niall?" I gripped his wrist tightly.

"Ow." he pulled his wrist away. "You're stronger than all of us. You need to control your anger."

"I'm not angry, just shocked."

"Well, you weren't the only one." A voice came from behind. I snapped around and saw Liam. He had his sleeves rolled up to where his tatoos were showing. His hair was cut again and it was short and stubby.

"Liam!" I cried and jumped into his arms. Tears rushed down my face. Gentle sobs were heard in the quiet hallway. Everyone watched as I broked down in his arms.

"Shh. Its ok. Love, we have to get going now. Are you ready?" Liam asked and kindly smiled at me.

"Yeah, I guess." I wiped my eyes and headed for the door, but stopped and turned to face everyone. "I just want to say, before we go out there, I'm thankful that all of you have dedicated your lives for this. And I know Jade and Esmeralda were probably way more sturdy than I am, but thank you. All of you."

"We know some of us may die out there. But as long as we all try, there is hope that we shall win Princess." A man around his thirties said.

"Yes. Well, shall we be off?" I casually looked at Maura. Her eyes were filled with tears. As we walked out the door, I slowed down to meet up with Maura. "Hey."

"Hello love."

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, just the elder told me whats going to happen. But if his vision is wrong, then let's hope we survive."

"So he's saying we're gonna win?"

"Kinda. But its more complicated than that dear. Stop chattin' with me and go learn how to wolf up me dear." She pushed me towards Niall and James with a smile.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Are we just gonna keep doing that all night?" Niall laughed.

"No, I hope not. But, uh, your mum wants you to teach me how to wolf up."

"Oh, so thats what it is, ey?"

"Yeah."

"Well, first things first. You have to be relaxed. Use your senses. Smell the air around you. Feel the wind. Hear the nosies around you."

I took a deep breath and focused on a bird chirping in the distance. My body jolted a smidge and I opened my eyes. Niall was taller than me, but not by much. I looked down at the ground where my feet once were. They were replaced with white paws.

What the hell? I looked up at the taller Niall and tried speaking, but only a bark came out.

Speak through your thoughts.

Niall? Is that you?

Yeah, I'm a wolf already so I can speak to you.

How is this possible?

Jade's parents, or your great-great-great-great-great grandparents.

That's a lot of great.

Oh shush! He chuckled and then wolfed up himself. So, hows the feeling of hearing, seeing, and smelling 10 timse more then you could?

It's incredible Ni. I can't believe this is what my family is.

Well, believe it.We walked in silence for a while until an elder spoke up.

"Princess, welcome to Madrak." I looked up and a field full of hunters was spread in front of me. Trees surrounded the field and there was a small opening we passed through. (Pic on side/above) I de wolfed and walked through the trees first. As I got closer, I saw two women that looked exactly like me. One Jade, so the other is Esmeralda.

Come dear, it is time to choose.

I made my way over to them and faced the two sides. Repeat after me. I, Princess Alana.

"I, Princess Alana."

Have chosen the side I will help.

"Have chosen the side I will help."

I know the consequences, as do all of you.

Now, speak a speech and join the side you choose.

"Most of you will most likely die. And we all know this isn't normally how a war starts." I sighed deeply and glanced at Niall. "If anyone is to blame, it's me. If the ones that I love die, may they rest in peace for all eternity and thier blood rests in my hand." I swallowed the lump in my throat and spoke the sacred words. "Today, I have chosen to side with," I paused and everyone leaned in. "The hunters."

If you have heard FOUR, what are your opinions on it? AND, what are you favorite songs?

My answer : I personally love FOUR! A friend said she was dissapointed, but she heard the wrong songs so maybe that will change. My favorite songs are Illusion and Once in a Lifetime.
