Chapter 21

Doing an early update because several people want me too, so here yous go!

EEEEK so excited for you to read this chapter! I had so much fun writing this and I had my friend help me out with some of the more.... intense scenes. dun duhn duuuuuuhn!!!!

Alana's POV

My heart was pounding at my own words. I am choosing to go against my own family. My eyes wandered over to Niall. His chest was puffed out and his eyes were a burning orange. Louis then came over to me and grabed my hand. "So your wolf side has fallen, and you've chosen us. Welcome to the hunter side." he grinned and pulled me to his group. My cheeks were burning and my eyes felt on fire.

"Dear, are you alright? Your eyes are orange." Louis' mother placed a hand on my shoulder and I shook violently. I let out an ear piercing shriek and fell onto the grass on my knees. My breathing was hitched.

I looked up at Louis and he was smirking. "Time to fight. Her feeings for Niall are gone. Now we can target him. But she will protect Liam with her life. You can't kill him, or you'll kill her." Louis spoke, never leaving our eye contact.

"Come on dear." His mother helped me up. I didn't look up until I heard a gun shot. It hit a tree behind the wolves and they all wolfed up in an instant. Out of instinct, I wolfed up. I guess he was wrong about my wolf.

"Woah." Louis gasped. The inside of me smirked and I glanced at Niall's wolf.

I'm so sorry Niall. I spoke. My eyes fell and he answered back.

It's not like you had a choice. The elder's vision is so far coming true. If it continues, we will be back together. I hope for the best. Please, don't die.

I will try not to. It's you who should worry, they are targeting you.

They wont even get a bullet through me.

"Alana, on your mark, the war starts." Louis whispered in my wolf ear. I glanced at Esmeralda and Jade who had small smiles and hoepful eyes. I looked up at the sky and let out a deep warning howl. The hunter's screamed and rushed towards the wolves as the wolves rushed towards them. They're out numbered. They'll lose.

Why did I choose the hunters?

Alana, your powers! You can end this war before anyone dies! Jade's voice rang through my ears and I thought for a moment. I glanced at the people far in front of me.

Louis and Maryam were running towards Niall. I wanted to run and protect him, but my body wouldn't move. Niall! behind you! He spun around and whipped them away with his gigantic paw. "Gah! He's too strong Louis!" Maryam stood up and aimed her riffel towards Niall's heart. I let out a growl and the earth shook, making everyone fall to the ground.

They all looked at me and stood up with jaws dropped. The next thing I knew, James was ripping off the head of Damion Winters. My eyes widened as blood spilled across his face and Damion's body. "You idiot!" Louis ran towards him with a dagger a plunged it through his heart.

"No!" I yelled, already turned into a human. I pushed past everyone and over to James. He was in his human form clutching his chest. The instant I touched him, I lifted his body with a strength I didn't realize I had. I carried him over to Esmeralda and Jade. "Please, do something!" Tears rushed down my face as I placed him in front of them.

We will try our best. Their worried faces scared me.

I snapped around with red in my eyes. "I, Princes Alana have changed my terminal. I am no longer apart of the hunters side! Nor am I apart of the wolves!" the earth started to shake and my body felt dizzy. Esmeralda caught me and layed me back in a chair. My head drooped lowly and I blacked out.

Niall's POV

"Now that she is no longer apart of either of our sides, we will continue this war till the death of all of you!" I yelled in my human form. Louis came up to me and smirked.

"It just makes you more of a target as the same for Liam since she isn't able to protect you." he used his hieght as an advantage. Our eyes met and in a split second, I was back as a wolf a attacking Louis. "You cant kill me! You're too weak!"

I growled unpleased. I pinned him down and he struggled under my grip.

"You wouldn't kill me." Louis stuttered. Watch me.

I let out another deep growl and lunged my face at his head. My teeth dug into his flesh and blood entered my mouth. I shook his head in my mouth and it finally popped off. Louis' body remained still.

Niall run! My mother looked at me and I began to run away from where I was.

"No!!!" A scream rippled through the air as Louis' mother fell on top of her now dead son. "You! You did this!" She got up and grabbed the bow and arrow connected to her back. I started running again and soon felt an arrow graze my back.

Dammit! Greg! I need help! I messaged my older brother as Louis' mom loaded another arrow and aimed it at me. I saw Greg and he jumped on tope of her, but it was too late. Her arrow went through his entire back and killed him. No! I growled and ran towards the devil. She tried loading another arrow, but by the time she put a finger on it, her head was off. It stayed in my mouth as I took heavy breaths.

That was for you Greg.

I looked around. Everyone was frozen. They all were staring behind me. I zipped around and Alana stood there in all black coming up to us.

"End the war, now." She stated firmly.

"Why should we, your majesty?" A hunter mimicked. I snapped at his hand taking it off his body. He collapsed to the ground, and then I realized that was one of Alana's teachers. Her eyes widened in shock.

The hunters then gained power and started attacking. Liam came up behind Alana in wolf form and stayed by her side. Liam, if I die, please take care of her.

Of course.

I ran full fledge towards the war and found myself in a deadly position between two hunter with guns.

I breathed heavily and looked at both of them. And before I knew it, Alana was in wolf form attacking the two hunters with Liam. She ripped off the hunters arms and left him limp on the ground. Her wolf padded over to me and nudged my head with hers. I wont let you die.

Let's go. We rushed side by side until a howl of death sounded. We turned around and a body only a family member knew would die inside. The hunters fled meaning we won, but I lost so many people today. My aunt, my older brother, my 3 cousins, Calum's sister, and my grandmother. Not sure about James just yet. But the body laying before me made me want to scream.

There lay at my feet, the body of Bobby Horan, my father.
