I groaned as i hit the ground with a loud thump. Steve ran, trying to attack Thanos but he was easily thrown aside by the purple ballsack for a chin Titan. Thor came in, his attack on Thanos was blocked by his sword. I pushed myself up and ran at Thanos, seeing Thor beaten and being held in the air, choking. Thanos uses his other arm and throws me down effortlessly once more. He then punched Thor and Mjolnir was flicked away as Thanos relentlessly continued his attack upon Thor, throwing him into a tree and chocking him before throwing him over rubble and choking him again. I coughed and spluttered as i was winded once more, rocks scraping me and blood running from my forehead as i'd landed on my front. I looked up to see Thor losing the battle against Thanos. I grunted as i gained what little remaining energy i had left to push myself back onto my feet. I saw Thor try to grab Stormbreaker but Thanos grabbed it and used it against Thor as he tried to defend himself. Maybe if i stuck a fork into Thor it would have the same effect as a plug socket. I chuckled lowly to myself before running towards Thanos once more. "you're persistent" he said as i dodged his first punch, managing to stab him in the hand with my knife. "don't" Thor gasped out. I shook my head glancing at him before jumping onto Thanos' shoulders and trying anything to make him let go of Thor.

But it didn't work.

He grabbed me, yanking me off and holding me in the air, his other hand wrapped around my neck. I glanced at Thor apologetically as i kicked and struggled to get out of his grip. He huffed annoyed and threw me threw the air, i landed on a pile of rubble, bits and pieces piercing my skin.

Once i'd finally come round, i noticed my own knife sticking out of my arm. The irony. I looked back to Thor and Thanos when suddenly Mjolnir flew into Thanos, zooming past, stopping, and flying back.

I looked over to where it came from with shock as i saw Steve holding it. I smiled softly as him in joy as Thor gasped "I knew it!". Thanos kicked Thor to the ground and proceed to ready himself to fight Steve who was dual wielding both his shield and Mjolnir. I groaned as i tried to sit up, grabbing the end of the knife and gasping in pain as o tried but failed to pull it out. Thor hurried over to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. "this is going to hurt" he said softly and i nodded, gritting my teeth. I let out a loud cry as he pulled the knife from my arm but i sighed in relief that it was out. "never put your life on the line to save me again" Thor said to me and i shook my head. "i've saved your ass millions of times, why stop now?" i questioned and we both chuckled briefly before we turned our attentions back to Steve fighting Thanos after feeling Mjölnir combined with Steve's shield shockwave go through the ground. I saw Thanos get the upper hand, removing his helmet and then stabbing Steve in the leg, knocking Mjolnir out of his hand. Thanos then proceed to destroy Steve's shield with his double-bladed sword and threw him across the battlefield. I gasp as i scrambled to my feet, worry filling me but relief flooding me as i saw Steve stagger and try to get up. I ran over to him and wrapped my arms around him, helping him stab.

"In all my years of conquest... violence...slaughter... It was never personal. But I'll tell you now... what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet... I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much" Thanos said as his entire army is summoned to the ground. I spotted some regulars include the Children of Thanos and the Chitauri.
