It was a normal day on Olympus, or at least for those times, Zeus was demanding progress from the other gods who had been removed from office to search for Ares, the Moirae and Athena, who were already missing for five moons.
But then Hermes rushed into the room, which was common because he always came running to give his warnings to Olympus and his king, but now he was strange, his face was white as goat's milk and he seemed to be scared of something.
" Hermes, it seems you're unwell, what is it?"- Zeus said
But the answer from the god of Olympus came next, the Council Hall door was flung open, and there stood Athena, Ares, and the Moiraes respectively, Athena stood before her group as a human shield, and Ares was close behind her , closer than usually she allowed any man but her father to be .
She had her characteristic braided hair, a sword in her hand, and her brest plate as well as Ares who wielded a sword, the Moiraes sneaking behind them both because of the look of Zeus that was now between the fury, the disapproval, and some other emotions Athena couldn't read.
" I think I never saw him so angry ."- Ares whispered in her ear
" So using me as a human shiled was after all a good idea ."- Athena
" Well , tell me one idea that came out of that brilliant mind of yours that did work ."- Ares whispered
" You overestimate me, I don't know if we'll get out of this alive."- Athena
" Anyway, we'll always have that lake . "- Are
" It was nice ."- Athena said
Zeus rose from his stoic throne, and Athena lowered her sword, they knew her father was angry , but the stoic silence of the thunder god scared Athena far more than if he had made lightning crack her in two.
He walked over to her slowly, she didn't know what he was going to do, so he came close to her, and Athena could see a change in his face, his eyes welling with tears and a smile spread across the face of the Olympian king, who gripped his daughter and gave her a big hug.
" Ohh , my daughter I've missed you so much ."- Zeus
" I missed you too father ."- Athena said
Zeus let his daughter go, so he turned his eyes to Ares who was behind Athena, Ares did not have his usual expression, he was neutral, and Ares saw his father's eyes fill with hatred.
" It's good that you came back , Ares . SO I CAN FINISH WHAT I STARTED !!!"- Zeus
" NO !!"- Athena said putting herself in front of Ares
" What are you doing ?"- Zeus
" IT'S NOT ARES FAULT ."- Athena shouted back
" Athena ... get out of the way . If our father feels the need to destroy me , I might as well give my father something he wants at least one time ."- Ares said calmly
" Ares this is not what we were going to do her ."- Athena looked at Ares
" We ?"- Zeus
" We , me and Ares ."- Athena
" I cannot belive that you are in defense of that son of a bitch !?"- Zeus
" Father I would ask you not to offend my mother , because of your hostility towards me ."- Ares
" You talking to much like your sister , finally you have learned something good !!"- Zeus
" I ask you one last think . The punishment for what happened must fall entirely on me. I'm the one to blame for this, I want you to leave the Moiraes be and I want you to ... want you to leave Athena be. "- Ares said more in a calm way
" What happened to you , you seem like a little dog , did your sister finally put the leash on you."- Zeus said teasing Ares
" Your not gonna punish him ."- Athena said
" Stay out of this child, this is not about you !"- Zeus said angryly
" NO ! Ares did nothing . Just because I'm not your perfect , poised and pure little daughter , doesn't mean this has to be something to provoke your anger , if Ares goes I'll go ."- Athena
" Athena ."- Zeus
" NO! NO ATHENA , I care for him and if you want to punish him you have to get me first ."- Athena said
The whole council gaped at Athena had never gone against her father, even when he was unfair, everyone knew that he would not admit to being challenged, even by Athena. Ares already had a hand on his sword in case his father tried to do something against Athena.
