-4th Year, Hogwarts Train-

"Hermione, isn't it the second?"

"No Ronald it's the first."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Oh." Ron erased something he had written on the piece of parchment in front of him.

"So Hermione, how was your summer?" Harry asked.

"Normal. You know, ice cream, pools, the usual." Hermione set her book down on the shorts of her romper which was covered in different geometric shapes all different colors with a polo style top to it and separating the two was a black belt.

"Ah yes. I had to endure the Dursleys once more."

"Yeah, for a week. Harry you went to Ron's house after a week!"

"It was a very bad week."

Hermione rolled her eyes and diverted her attention to her book.

Then there was a knock on the screen.

"Fred, George, what're you doing here?" Ron asked.

"Well, little brother we came to speak to Ms. Granger." Fred held his wand dangerously close to Ron's face.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" Hermione asked.

"Well it's about Professor McGonagall, she's lost something and she wants your help to find it." George smirked at his brother. It was an obvious lie, but Hermione had a feeling she knew what they were talking about.

"Oh fine. Show me to her." Hermione set her book aside and stood up to follow the twins.

Once the compartment door was shut, Hermione started interrogating the twins.

"What is this really about?"

"You know, don't you?" Fred reached for his pocket and brought out a piece of parchment, but it wasn't any old piece of parchment.

"The Marauders Map? How on earth acquire such an object?"

"Took it from Filches office long ago," George said. "Oof, we really got it that time around."

"So you know about, about, oh you know what I'm talking about!"

"Yes we do, and we wanted to tell you your knight in shining armor wants to talk to you." Fred put the map away and pointed behind Hermione.

Hermione turned around so fast she could hardly register what she saw herself.

A self-respecting Slytherin daring to walk into the Gryffindor cart.

"Malfoy." He was wearing a pair of acid wash jeans and a blue crewneck sweater.

"Granger."

"What are you doing in the Gryffindor cars?" Hermione had seen Draco over the summer, once. His silky bleach blonde hair was just the same, although it wasn't very combed, it was more of I "I just went to the beach and now my hair is like this" vibe. His eyes still twinkled with excitement as he walked a step towards Hermione.

"Nice in here, though I see no house colors."

"I don't know what to tell you. I absolutely have nothing to say other than get out!"

"Oh c'mon Hermione,"

"Since when are we on a first name basis!"

"Oh just let it go!"

"What do you want?!"

Draco paused. He didn't know what he wanted and it was very obvious, in fact they so loud several second years peered out their door.

"I thought so." Hermione gave Draco her 'Haha I knew I was right' look and it almost made Draco break character.

"Let's get you back to your car."

Hermione grabbed his arm, but not in a bad way. In an 'I'm surrounded by people who would hate me if they saw me with a Slytherin not being rude' way.

Once they had slammed the Gryffindor car door shut and were standing on the tiny platform between the empty car and the last Gryffindor car, was when Hermione let go of Draco.

"I missed you." He said.

Hermione's face softened. "I did too. Now before we fall onto the tracks to our death, let's just go in the empty car.

He smiled and opened the door. "Ladies first."

Hermione smiled at Draco and walked through. The empty car was a car that nobody ever sat in. It used to be the teachers car, but then they started to take a separate train up, so it was very empty. Students were instructed to not name it a house car because there were an even number of house cars already.

Draco shut the door.

It was just them, at least that's what they thought.

Draco quickly grabbed Hermione's face and pressed it against his and locked her in an embrace.

Hermione wrapped her arms around his waist and stood on her tip toes to keep their kiss. Draco had grown over the summer and now stood at 5'11", Hermione only stood at 5'3".

Draco wrapped his arms around her neck and pulled her close to his chest and Hermione was forced to end their kiss.

"And that's what I've missed all summer. Now we're done," Draco wasn't very good at lying to Hermione because both broke out laughing after his joke.

Then, Hermione and his eyes locked. His eyes, that was one thing she couldn't use the Marauders map to find her way through.

Draco bent down and kissed her again. Hermione deepened the kiss further, Draco walked her and pressed her up against a wall. Hermione bent one leg and moved her hands to his shoulders and she could feel him let go of her neck and heard one hand slam against the wall above her head.

Draco slowly pulled away before Hermione beat him to it.

They broke apart and Hermione punched him in the shoulder.

"Go back to the Slytherins, they wouldn't want their fearless leader away for too long or they'd start theorizing."

He smirked at her, planted one last kiss on her lips and jogged off in the other direction.

Hermione stood there for a few seconds before returning to the Gryffindor car. Kissing Draco was always exciting and there were always new fireworks each time, was it like this with everyone?
