"What? No, that sounds like a bad idea."

-The Great Hall, the next morning-

Carrie and Hermione sat across from Harry and Ron at breakfast.

"Harry! I never got to congratulate you on the challenge! You did amazing!" Hermione said.

Mouth full of food, Harry replied: "Thanks Hermione. Your spell really worked!"

"So does all the stuff here just appear out of nowhere? It's so much stuff!" Carrie chimed.

"They have house elves make it. Little elves who get paid nothing and who don't have rights!" Hermione huffed.

"That doesn't sound to good." Carrie took a piece of toast from the rack and ate it.

"Attention students!" Professor Dumbledore boomed and the whole hall went silent. "Today classes will continue as normal, the day off has been postponed until next Friday."

There were collective "aww" and disappointed shouts, but Hermione was glad to have this day for schoolwork, because next Friday was hers and Dracos 1 year anniversary.

Breakfast was over and it was time for class, Hermione gathered her things and made her way to History of Magic with Professor Bins.

But for the love of merlin, she couldn't pay attention in that class. Her mind was on her anniversary next Friday and what she was going to do.

She had said earlier that she was going to dance, maybe get some music and flowers. But she had an even better idea.

Hermione decided that she was going to prep the room of requirement ahead of time, she would have there be a wood burning fireplace with a big fire, a sofa that was also a fold out bed so they could sleep there that night if it was too late to go back to their dorms and they might slow dance all night long.

"Ok who here can tell me the day magic was invented, Granger?"

Hermione shot up, the day magic was invented? There was no such day.

"Sir there is no day."

"Correct." Hermione continued to plan their get together in her head throughout the entire day, and during classes.

Once classes were over and the weekend was there, Hermione rushed up to the girls dorms to discuss her plans with the girls.

---

"...and flowers!" Hermione finished the plan.

Pavarti and Carrie nodded in agreement, it was a good plan.

Lavender and Fay however popped the question of what was she going to wear?

"I hadn't really thought about it." Hermione admitted. "Probably just an oversized tee shirt or something."

"What if he want's to take you on a date out by the lake or something?"

"What? No, that sounds like a bad idea." Hermione replied.

"Why?"

"We got caught last time by Snape, I don't think he would risk it happening again."

-Slytherin Boys Dorms-

"What're you doing for yours and Hermiones anniversary?" Blaise asked Draco as they sat alone in the dorm.

"I have an idea, I'm going to take her out on a date to our beach house in Ireland, my parents never use it, especially in October. I have a portkey all set up. It's going to be great, we're going to a fancy restaurant for dinner and then on a walk on the Pierre. Gosh I love her."

"Speaking of your parents, what happens when they find out?" Blaise questioned.

Draco had thought about this. "Well, they find out, I'll probably loose my father if there isn't another Malfoy involved." He laughed.

"Another Malfoy?" Blaise asked.

"Like if we ever decide to have a kid."

"Oh ok. And he'll want to take the kid?"

"Yeah. My mom will probably be mad but deal with it, I can tell she doesn't believe in that kind of thing. Blood purity and whatnot."

"Of course. Mate, I have something to tell you." Blaise looked down at his worksheet and Draco looked across the room at him.

"Tell away." He said.

"Well, you see, I kind of, like this girl, but I'm not sure if she likes me back because I think she's really hung up on this other guy, but I don't know what to do."

Draco thought for a second. This sounded like something he knew. A girl hung up on a guy, another guy likes her but doesn't know how to show it.

"I would just tell her how you feel mate. I know it's scary, when I first told Hermione, it was like 'is there an us?' and she was like: 'only if you want there to be.' Once you tell her, it'll feel like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. Or you could just kiss her."

Blaise nodded. "Ok. I'm going to do it." He stood up and walked out of the room. Draco jumped up to follow him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're going to do it right now?" He asked. Blaise seemed so determined.

"Yeah mate, there she is." The only girl he saw was Pansy. Oh my gosh, it was Pansy.

To be honest, Draco never loved Pansy. He liked her as a friend, she was actually a really sweet girl. He could understand why Blaise would like her.

Blaise walked up to her. "Pansy can I talk to you?" She was sitting alone on the couch.

"Sure Blaise." She patted the spot next to her. Draco watched from afar.

"So, Pansy, I wanted to ask you something," He said. Thank god the room was empty, except for them 3.

"Shoot." She said.

Blaise turned bright red. "I, uh, wanted to, uh, oh screw it!" He grabbed her face and kissed her.

Draco cringed, even though he and Hermione kissed plenty, it was kind of gross to watch others kiss, especially since it was two of his best friends. And because Blaise was not good at it.

"So, wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked.

Pansy smiled. "I can't believe it took you so long."

"AWWWWWWWWWWW!" Draco said and ran up to the two. "You guuuuuuuuuys!"

Blaise and Pansy laughed at Draco.
