-Gryffindor Common Room, Early April-
"Hermione, do you remember a little while ago, when, um, there was that death eater and the Voldemort thing?" Harry asked Hermione.
Hermione paused before she answered. "I do remember that. How they are planning to bring him back."
"Yeah. So I was doing some, I guess you could call it research, and the defense against the dark arts teacher, Professor Mad-Eye Moody, is always drinking something from that flask. After class a few days ago, I sniffed it, and it smelled like the Polyjuice potions we made in 2nd year."
"So you don't think Mad-Eye is Mad-Eye? Is he some different person? Is he a death eater?"
"That's what I was thinking! How much more investigating do we have to do? To prove it?"
"Well we would need to somehow prove what he's drinking is Polyjuice?"
"How do we do that?"
"I don't know Harry. I really don't. You should tell Professor Dumbledore about it."
"But he's so busy with the Triwizard tournament!"
"So are you! How are you preparing for the final challenge?"
Harry choked. "We don't know what it is, we know it's something about a maze."
"Hm." Hermione looked at her watch and got up. "Got to go, it's time."
"Goodnight Hermione, I expect you back by twelve!" Harry mimicked Hermiones father and she closed the door behind her.

When Hermione walked into the room of requirement, she saw Draco reading a letter.
"Hello," Hermione walked over and plopped herself down next to Draco on the sofa. "Whatcha reading?"
"A letter." Draco didn't take his eyes off it and he didn't move.
"From who?"
"My parents."
"About...?"
Draco sighed and put the letter down on the coffee table.
"About nothing my love. Nothing we need to worry about right now." Draco put his arm around Hermione and she scooted closer to him. But oddly enough, it didn't feel the same.
Draco was tense and Hermione could tell, his shoulder muscle was flexed and he had that look in his eye he got when his Professor Snape yelled at him for messing up potions assignments.
"Everything ok?" Hermione asked Draco. He didn't look her in the eye, it was if he couldn't. "You seem tense."
"I'm fine, Hermione. If there was something wrong I would tell you."
Hermione smiled at this and kissed Draco on the cheek. He didn't redden, it was if he hadn't felt it at all.

Dear our dearest Draco,
Hello dear! How's school going? Things over here are pretty normal, except for one thing.
You see Draco, my sister came to visit me yesterday. And, well, she told some news. The former Death Eaters have found a way to bring Voldemort back to life. It's quite simple if she explains it to you. We actually have a mole inside Hogwarts! How exciting!
But anyways, she asked your father if he was interested in being a Death Eater again and of course he said yes.
Now I know this will be scary for you, you've lived a completely normal life until now. Of they succeed in bringing the Dark Lord back to life, you will be made a Death Eater whether you like it or not. I'm so sorry honey, if it was up to me this wouldn't be happening.
It is in great sorrow that I say you will be a future Death Eater.
In deepest regrets,
Narcissa Malfoy.
Draco couldn't breathe, he'd waited to open the letter that had arrived early that morning until now and now he didn't feel like reading it over again. He didn't want to be a Death Eater. Why couldn't've his mum said something?
Because she was just as afraid of his father as he was.
Draco hardly noticed Hermione sitting next to him until she asked what he was reading.
"A letter."
"From who?"
"My parents."
"About...?"
"About nothing my love."
After talking with Hermione a bit, it was time for them to go. This was usually how their meet-ups went. They would talk, kiss, hold hands, do everything normal couples could do in public without the gaping eyes of students.
Draco kissed Hermione goodnight before slowly making it back to his dorm. He couldn't stop thinking.
Mole? What mole? In Hogwarts? Who? It certainly couldn't be Snape, for he knew he was a double agent. Couldn't be Flitwick, he was under the Death Eaters standards, literally. They have a height requirement. It couldn't be Dumbledore, McGonagall, Binns or Sprout, they were all too soft.
That left only one, Mad-Eye-Moody. It was obvious! Why hadn't Draco thought of it sooner?! He was always drinking something form that flask, Draco always assumed it was alcohol because it took a lot of strength to get through all those classes. But it was Polyjuice potion! But who was mad-eye, really. Who was he truly?
Draco pondered this as he made his way back to his bed.

-Professor Dumbledore's Office-
There was a knock at the large wooden door and Albus simply responded: "Come in," in a friendly manor.
A man with greasy black hair and black robes stepped into the office.
"Albus we need to speak."
"Why of course Severus, have a seat." He gestured towards a comfortable leather chair across from his.
"Albus, warn the order."
Albus was confused. "Severus what on earth do you mean?"
"They are ready, they are bringing him back."
