"I can't believe he broke up with me!"

-That night-

Draco practically ran to the hallway where the one person he could bare to be around more than two hours was waiting.

He must've been very forgetful that night, because he seemed to forget something very essential.

"Draco!" Hermione waved from the small spot in the hallway that was lit.

"Hermione!" He could only see a light running towards him, and not her.

Suddenly her arms were around his neck and she had jumped onto him, her legs wrapped around his waist. Hermione's back was moving up and down rapidly and she was sobbing.

"Hermione what's wrong?"

"It's Ron."

"What about him?"

"He, he told Harry that he never wanted to see me again."

"Why?"

He could feel Hermione shrug.

"Oh, wow. That's awful. Want me to go beat him up?"

She lifted her head and laughed. "No, it's ok. It will all work out. He'll probably drop it by tomorrow." Then her eyes suddenly widened and she hoped down.

"What's wrong?" Draco asked again.

Then Hermione began to laugh. "Draco look what you've forgotten!"

He looked around, until he realized it.

"Well this is awkward." He looked down but Hermione kissed him anyways.

"Next time, don't forget." She said after the kiss.

"I won't." Hermione laughed and Draco really took this time to get a good look at her. She was beautiful.

Tonight she was wearing a really long tee shirt that buttoned up the top. It was long enough to cover her until her mid thigh, but not enough to be considered a dress.

The silence was good, it felt natural.

Hermione wrapped her arms around Draco's waist and leaned her head to his chest. Draco knew she could hear his heart beating, he could feel his heart beating at the bottom of his flannel bottoms.

"I love nights like these." She said.

"I do too, the nice, the quiet, no imbecile students looking at you as if your a piece of rubbish. Just us. Only us."

"What made you go into the Gryffindor car anyway?"

Draco remembered, it had actually been a dare from Pansy to go make out with a Gryffindor girl, which he had done, but it wasn't like he was going to tell her that.

"I wanted to see you."

Hermione looked up at him and he looked down at her. "That's so sweet, if only you hadn't gotten thrown out."

"By you!"

Hermione laughed and broke away from Draco.

The stood eyeing each other for a while until Draco sat down. His back scratched against the wall and he jumped away almost instantly.

"Ouch!"

"Well maybe if you'd remember a sweatshirt that wouldn't've hurt!"

"Or a shirt for that matter. Again, so sorry."

"Draco, you're fine. It's not like I'm going to take a picture and send it out to the whole school!"

The two laughed and talked for the rest of their time.
