-Anniversary Night-
"Ok so Draco slipped me a note that told me to wear something fancy! What do I wear?!" Hermione interrogated Fay and Carrie about her wardrobe choice.
"What kind of fancy dresses do you have?" Carrie asked.
Hermione walked over to her trunk and pulled out two dresses.
The first was a short black dress with a v-neck and spaghetti straps. The second was the same style only in red.
"Which one?" Hermione asked.
Almost like they shared a mind, Fay and Carrie replied: "The red one."
Hermione preferred the red one, the black one was newer and it itched.
"Ok, I guess I'm wearing this!"

-Room of Requirement-
Hermione had set up the music and couch for after their dinner. Draco refused to tell her where they were going, so she hoped it would be warm.
Hermione didn't have to wait long for Draco to come.
He walked in in a dress shirt underneath a tuxedo jacket, bowtie, and slacks. Hermione thought he looked very handsome.
She got up and walked towards him, almost tripping in her three inch heels Fay made her wear.
"Hey you," He said, placing his hands on her waist.
"Hi," Hermione put her hands on his jawline.
She looked into his beautiful, grey, stormy eyes and saw the wonder of a person he was.
Hermione stood on her tiptoes and kissed him, slowly but sweetly.
He kissed back and leaned down so she didn't have to balance. They stood like that for a while, enjoying the warmth of each other.
Draco finally broke away.
"Our reservation is in 10 minutes, we should probably go." He said. Hermione nodded and was about to turn away when Draco grabbed her arm.
"Is that the necklace I gave you?" Hermione put her hand on her chest. She always wore it underneath her cloths, close to her heart.
"Yeah, it is." He smiled so widely that Hermione didn't think he could smile any wider. "Love you," He said.
"I love you too."
He took a hairbrush out of his pocket. "This is the portkey, hold on." Hermione put her hand on the bristles of the brush and they were soon whisked away.

-Ireland-
Hermione could only stare. It was beautiful, the beach, the town, the stars, everything.
"There it is," Draco said. He pointed to a small pub with a sign that read: 'Bonita' hung above the doorway.
"Draco it's beautiful here." Hermione stuttered. "I'm lost for words!"
He put his hand on her shoulder and kissed her cheek.
"I love you," He said into her ear.
Hermione didn't respond with words, but leaned her head into Dracos body. She was so glad she could be here, with him.
He lead them past many other couples and families into the small cafe and talked to the host.
"Good evening sir, do you have a reservation?" The host asked in a thick Irish accent.
"Yes sir, it should be under Johnson." Draco never used real names, Hermione knew this because he had told her before, it was to keep his parents from finding out but Hermione didn't see the point, his parents were in another country.
"Here it is sir, if you could follow me." The host led them to a table in the back where there was a little booth.
"Here are your menus, I'll notify the staff that you've arrived." He said.
Hermione sat across from Draco and crossed her legs. It was a very nice pub. There were people all dressed up and people in their play cloths. There was everything. This pub had a very distinctive smell to it, it smelled of roses and lime. It smelled like her mothers perfume.
Hermione missed her parents, but she was always a little homesick.
"How did you ever find this place Draco?" Hermione asked, distracting herself.
"Well my family vacationed here a few times, and we would always go to this pub. It's a great little spot."
Hermione took his hand in hers and intertwined her fingers with his.
He smiled and kissed the back of her hand. It was fireworks, every time Draco touched her it felt like a million alarms set to go off at one specific moment and release all the good energy in the world. When he kissed her, it felt as though she was on fire. When he held her close, she felt safe.
She had never felt this way with anybody. The only people that might live her more than Draco were her parents. Obviously she was lucky, she had so many people that loved her in her life. She knew that Draco often felt as though his parents didn't love him, specifically his father, and she felt awful. She had made it her mission to love him so much his father would be jealous.

-After Dinner-
Draco and Hermione walked hand-in-hand out of the restaurant. The sun had set hours ago and now all the stars shown above, bright and beautiful.
"I have a few more surprises for you." Draco smirked at her but it only made Hermione love him that much more. Draco was so sweet, if everyone only gave him a chance.
Draco lead her down a few road to the beachside, where there was a small boardwalk.
Hermione smiled at the sea. Draco had remember she had told him that she loved the sea.
"I love this." She said. There was nobody else around, it was perfect.
Draco put his arm around her waist and pulled her hip to his. He kissed the top of her forehead and he could hear her shiver. Wait, shiver?
She must be awfully cold, she only wore that dress. Draco slipped off his jacket and put it on her shoulders as they walked the beach. Hermione looked up at him.
"Thanks Dra," She smiled. She called Draco 'Dra' rarely, and when she did, she always kissed him on the cheek, something Draco did not mind at all. When Hermione kissed him, it felt as though his whole, crazy world was at peace for a moment.
They walked the boardwalk until it ended and there was a small road leading off it.
"And my last surprise for you is this," He pointed to his families house on the edge of the beach, but he noticed something weird. There was a fire burning in the fire pit. His parents were at the house.
He could see his mother, he caught her eye.
"Oh Draco it's so beautiful-what are you doing?"
"My parents are there! I thought they were in France! We have to go, grab on." He held out the hairbrush and Hermione grabbed it immediately.
Suddenly they were back in the room of requirement.
