What were the top three lessons I learned the hard way?
This one is interesting.... lessons I learned the hard way.
1. A few years ago, when my uncle passed. I learned that people don't always stay with you, no matter how much you want them to.
2. Again, it was a few years ago, and my grandma was babysitting me for my parents. From what I remember, almost immediately after she was sure I was fed, she locked me in my room. That was scary for someone my age, your grandma, who at the time was my best friend, just locked me in my room for no reason.
I was stuck in there for quite a few hours if I remember correctly, until my parents got home, and I couldn't even greet them, I also couldn't get ready for bed because I was stuck in my room, and I don't think I was old enough to change properly by myself.
So I learned, people may not always be who you think they are.
3. This one is recent, maybe a week. My grandpa had a heart attack, that caused a stroke, and is still in the hospital. There are many times he's been hurt enough that he needed emergency care, and he has had strokes before, so I'm used to the panic that comes with it.
But this time I guess I wasn't prepared or something, because it just seems to be chaos. And even though my grandpa is alive, I feel like this is a repeat of when my uncle passed.
I don't know what's happening until something else already happened, I'm barely seeing either of my parents, the only way I feel like I know they exist is when I hear their voices arguing or when I see one of them storm through the house. And I know everything is going to end up the way it's supposed to, because it has before, but that doesn't help.
So I guess I'm saying I relearned that history repeats itself, and knowing that doesn't help.
Sorry for being depressing, I just needed a release, and thought here was a good place.
You don't have to tell me lessons you learned the hard way if you don't want, I understand that they're personal and some people don't want to share them.
