Halloween Is Not Only About Putting On A Costume, But It's About Finding The Imagination And Costume Within Ourselves.
First before we talk about the quote, HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND HAPPY SAMHAIN!!!!
Anyway, I really like this quote, because it's saying our Halloween costume are a part of ourselves, and not just costumes. I definitely agree with this, there are some things that I could dress up as, some things I wouldn't dress up as, some things I refuse to dress up as, and some things I would absolutely dress up as. But that doesn't mean I don't like all of those costumes, I just wouldn't wear them.
All of my Halloween costumes that I can remember have been 'unique', as in they're not store bought, I made them myself, maybe not the clothes, but I pieced them together. And that helps make them feel like a part of me I guess.
Halloween is all about imagination, your costumes, your decorations, the stories you tell. Etc.
For Halloween I'm being a nature spirit, and I can't wait to put it on all together.
