Releasing the old to make way for the new. That's one of my favorite sayings. I don't know why, but I just love hearing that. I don't always like doing that though.
'The old' is comfortable, it's something we're used to, so of course we don't want to release it. And 'the new' is something different, we've never experienced 'the new' so that just makes it scarier. Then depending on how we 'release the old' and 'accept the new' it's even more scary. But usually it's worth it, even if you have trouble navigating 'the new'.
Think of it as, you have a phone, it's not the best phone, say, an iPhone 8, but one day you have to exchange that phone for a different one, and you get a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus or something similar.
It's a drastic and difficult change between iOS and android, but in the end it's probably worth it. Of course, you may end up not knowing android's systems, but you will eventually understand them.
