It's not about perfect
It's about effort.
Yes, sometimes perfection is nice, but usually it's not worth it. It's about the effort you put into it, and the results you get from that.
This quote was originally said by a personal trainer, so I'll uses something about that as an example.
Say you're swimming, and you're learning how to swim the freestyle (front crawl) way, if you want to race, it's not going to be about how perfect your form is, it's going to be about your speed.
If you try to get your form perfect, that's going to take more effort and energy, which should be used for other things, (like breathing, kicking, and just spare energy).
Yes, a perfect form might help with that, but if it's not your natural form then it takes up extra energy. And by natural form, I mean that everyone is different, and sometimes can't do what others can.
I have issues with my left shoulder when I'm swimming, I can't move it the 'perfect way'.It's about effort, to much and you crash, to little and it does nothing. It's about balance, which may seem harder that full effort if you're not used to it.
(I'm thinking about stopping this book sometime soon, I get a rough average of 6 people looking at each chapter, and it's not to enjoyable updating anymore, which defeats the purpose of this being a positive book, and I'm not even going to go into the fact that I'm a realist acting like an optimist. I won't stop unless you guys are alright with it, I'm just putting it out there.)
