Stop overthinking things and just do.
I like this quote, because recently I did just that, and I realized that it was easier when I stopped overthinking.
Story time!
So for several weeks now, I have wanted to make my family's Christmas stockings instead of buying/using old ones, but I kept putting it off, oh, I need fabric: oh, is the sewing machine working: oh, I need to relearn how to sew. Etc. so I kept putting it off, no matter how much I wanted to do it.
two-days-ago, I think my parents took me to a fabric store, and I got all the fabric that I wanted. So I decided in that day to start sewing the first stocking also, after a few quick 'lessons' to help me remember everything, I was off.
I have two dogs, so I started with one's stocking, because they wouldn't care how they looked.
I did end up having to do some hand stitching, but I used that more then the sewing machine and remembered how.
But I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't overthinking it, do it when you can, and it will likely be better then you expected.
Unfortunately, I can't find who said/wrote this quote, mostly because whenever I search up the quote, it comes up with psychology help on how to stop overthinking things.
