Chapter 7

"You could kiss me. I've been wanting you to since I walked in the kitchen and saw you cooking." He said as his lips brushed over his. Emma looked into his eyes and saw the truth of his statement. Then he pressed her more firmly into the counter and felt the bulge in his pants against her hip and knew again it was true. She put one hand against his cheek and the other on the back of his neck. She closed the short distance between them and kissed him.

She kissed him but it was Jason that deepened the kiss. He traced the seams of her lips with his tongue, when she didn't open them he nibbled on her bottom lip. When she did he slipped his tongue in and tangled his with hers. He moved his hands from the counter to her lower back then to cup her ass and bring her closer to him. She started to grind her hips against his as his lips trailed lower to her neck and then up to her ear lobe then down to follow the neck line of her shirt. She ran her hands through his hair as he made his way back up to her lips slowly with little nibbles and then little licks. When he got back to her lips he took her bottom lip into his mouth and bit it then soothed it with his tongue. One of his hands moved up to cup her breast and found her nipple through her bra and teased it. He caught her cry of surprise in his mouth as he kissed her.

When he started to slide his hand up the back of her shirt they heard the boys coming down the back stairs and they sprang apart. Jason was fixing his hair when they walked back into the kitchen. Logan and Evan looked between the two of them then shook their heads and started to laugh. When Jason looked back at Emma her cheeks where bright red. She looked thoroughly kissed. If the boys hadn't come down when they did they might have not have stopped. She looked back at him and smiled.

"I'll let you guys finish loading the dishwasher while I go get my purse and check on mom." She said as she walked past Jason to the back stairs.

When she walked past him he almost stopped her. "If either of you want to go to the movies keep your mouth shut and do what she said I have to go to the bathroom." Then turned to walk the way Emma went.

He caught up to her as she started to walk in her room. He didn't say anything as he followed her and shut the door. She knew he was behind her, knew that he shut and locked the door behind him. When she knew that she could face him she turned. He looked like he was ready to pounce.

Jason looked from Emma to the bed she was standing next to then back to Emma again. He walked over and sat on the bed. She sat next to him and when she did he took her hand in his and brought it to his mouth.

"Jason I normally don't do things like this." She said as he began to nibble on each finger. "Jason" she breathed out his name when he started to kiss her neck. "Jason the boys are waiting for us down stairs and I still have to check on my mother." She didn't think he could hear her because he just kept on kissing her neck making his way to her ear.

Then for the second time today there was a pounding at her door. She heard Jason swear under his breath. "Would you mind if I broke your brothers hand so that he would stop doing that." He said still kissing her neck.

"For a cop you are quite violent, Jason." She said as she started to laugh. She realized Jason had stopped kissing her neck and was staring at her as the pounding continued.

"We will finish this I promise you that." He said as he stood bringing her with him.

"I went to see if you where in moms room and you where and then Evan here went to check on Jason because he was taking quite awhile in the bathroom. Then we tried your door and it was locked. Why is that? How about you tell us." Logan said with his hands on his hips giving Jason the death glare.

"Well you see Logan I am twenty three and I can lock my door if I want to. I have to go check on mom the three of you go down stairs and wait for me I will be there in less than fifteen minutes." Emma said as she let go of Jason's hand kissed him on the cheek and walked down the hall way to her mother's room.

This time when she walked into her mother's room she was knitting. Her mother looked up and smiled at Emma when she walked in. Emma sat down on the bed and saw what her mother was kitting, baby bootees. "Mom why are you making a pair of baby booties?" Emma asked.

Her mother looked up Emma and smiled. "Whenever you or Logan decide to have children I want them to have something from their grandma I am making a pair for each you and Logan to use when you have children." And just like that she went back to what she was doing.

"Jason is taking the boys and I to the movies. Will you be ok for a couple hours?" Emma said as she stood back up.

"Emma I am home alone all day when your brother is a school. I think I can handle a couple hours alone." Her mother smiled and continued working. "Well go, go on and have fun."
