3rd POV
The nurse walked into the room as Katie and Cassandra walked back in.
Nurse: Ms. Belladonna is ready for visitors, I wouldn't talk to her a lot though, she's still a little messed up from the surgery and the pain killers. Though she has been asking about someone named Katie.
Katie: that's me.
Nurse: come with me child. I'll let the rest of you know when she's ready for you. She wants to see the child first.
Katie followed the nurse into Blake's hospital room. Blake smiled as she saw Katie.
Blake: hey Katie...how are you?
Katie: not bad....how are you?
Blake: drudged up. They gave me a rabies shot and a lot of painkillers.
Katie: Mom, I'm sorry about what happened.
Blake: Katie...it wasn't your fault, none of it was, you have that monster burning inside you, don't worry, we'll make sure nothing like this ever happens again. You're a good girl Katie, I know you wouldn't hurt anyone unless provoked.
Katie: I just feel so bad.
Blake: I'm still alive and well Katie, as long as I see you walk across the stage at Beacon, I'll feel like I did things right.
Katie smiled as she grabbed her mother's hand.
Blake: Yang will watch you while I'm in the hospital for a few days.
Katie: can't I stay here?
Blake: I wish you could, but the hospital has a strict policy with visitors staying in the room with the patient. I'll be fine Katie, there's no need to worry.
Blake smiled as she placed her hand on the left side of Katie's face.
Blake: your father would be so proud of you. He'd probably say "sweet lord the kid is going places"....you're going to be outstanding when you're older.
Katie: thank you mom.
Yang walked into the room and smiled.
Yang: you look like shit.
Blake: I know I do. How's Ruby?
Yang: sleeping, she did it mid sentence to.
Blake: what did she say?
Yang: 'tell Blake I said', then she passed out hard.
Blake: well that's always something. Would you be able to take Katie home?
Yang: of course.
Katie: bye mom.
Blake: bye Katie, I'll see you in a few days.
Katie smiled as Yang walked out of the room with her, Cassandra waiting in the hallway.
Yang: lets drop you off home Cassandra.
Cassandra: alright.
Timeskip
Katie and Yang walked back into the house.
Yang: try and get some rest child.
Katie: what if that creature comes back out?
Yang: it won't be able to get past me.
Yang smirked as she cracked her knuckles. Katie smiled as she walked back into her room and quickly got ready for bed. She went into her bed and pulled the covers up and turned off the lamp next to her bed, she has some weeks before she goes to Beacon Academy.
Within seconds she was lights out unconscious, drifting into a dream.
Katie Dream POV
I woke up in a dark field with a burning house in the distance and the forest and grass black and ashy.
?????: isn't it beautiful child, this is a glimpse of the future. Your future, something you caused.
I stood up and looked at the creature as it turned around.
?????: this is what you caused, you burned down your own home, and you made sure everyone was inside.
Me: get out of here....I won't let you hurt them.
??????: but you're allowing me right now, you are feeling guilty over hurting your mother and that coffee addict. Your guilt will lead to the begin phases of your will shattering, where I shall take control.
Me: I feel bad....but it wasn't me who did it.
?????: but it is, you're nothing without me. You're weak, soon that little girlfriend of yours will soon see as well. Well....she'll see when she's begging for her last breath.
Me: No!
Dream End.

Katie's eyes shot open as she was in a massive sweat.
Katie: calm down Katie....it's just a dream.
