We got to the Airbnb that Brian's cousin got for the party, and just from the outside I could already tell this party was gonna be the party of the year.
We parked on the crowded Street and got out the car in awe at the lit up house. There were purple, blue, green, and red lights coming from the house, people on the front lawn, and music blasting. People were either making out, dancing, or arguing.
We went in the house but what was strange to me was Ryan wasn't holding onto me, or even paying attention to me. I'm pretty sure he's just distracted, I mean there is a lot to look at.
It was crowded in the house but it wasn't too hot, I'm guessing there are multiple air conditionings in the house. The group made it's way over to the drinks to get things started. We all grabbed one shot and one normal drink.
This isn't my first time drinking actually, I'm not even a light weight. I can handle my liquor and I know when I've had enough. We all down our shots and make our way over to the actual party.

.I was dancing in the sea of people as people were going along with the beat and screaming the lyrics. I had more drinks and shots so i was a bit tipsy but not really drunk. I was dancing, going with the music but I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw my ex.
Brandon.
My smile goes when I see him. We aren't on bad terms it's just I haven't seen him in a year, it's felt so long. We're actually still friends. We ended things because we just didn't feel the spark anymore and it was more like we were best friend's than actually together. I guess we were meant to just stay friends.
He sees me and smiles, I smile back. I walk over to him with my drink in my hand and a smile on my face.
"Hey, Jamie. How have you been?" He asks while giving me a hug.
"I've been good, how have you been?" I ask pulling away from the hug and looking into his brown eyes.
"I've been great, actually. Im visiting back here with my family. And I'm glad I ran into you actually. I wanted to apologise for leaving you with barley any information." He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled nervously.
"It's okay, it's in the past. And right now is the present, and all I want to do is dance. Will you dance with me?" I ask, my brain a bit too intoxicated to understand exactly what I was doing.
He chuckled at me, "Yeah I'll dance with you." I grabbed his hand and went back into the crowd with him.
We were close together since it was more crowded in the middle. Brandon twirled me around and dipped me back.
I missed this.
Me and Ryan are more of the physically affectionate couple. We don't usually do this type of thing together. I love him though and I'll do anything for him.
But I do miss doing these types of things.
Brandon and I danced together and I think I've laughed more with him in the past hour he's been here then this whole week. I don't like Brandon, as I said we were meant to be friends and that's it.
"Hey, I'm gonna go get a drink you want one?" I yelled over to him and he nodded.
I left the crowd and made my way over to the drinks. I got Brandon and I some pineapple juice mixed with vodka, mostly vodka, and I was on my way back to him but then I saw the thing that I thought would never happen.
I saw Ryan kissing a girl. His hands were on her waist as they were against the wall.
Sadness started to fill me mixed with anger. I guess I was taking a while because when I turned around Brandon was behind me looking worried.
