3rd POV
Jamie has been on edge for a while, it was quite hard for him to fall asleep last night because his thoughts just wouldn't stop. When Jamie woke up this morning he stayed positive and dismissed any negative thought.
As Jamie got ready for school Brandon texted him, telling him that he would be picking Jamie up after school. Knowing this made Jamie happy that he wouldn't have to take the bus home.
When he arrived at school, Katy was waiting for him by the school doors like she usually does. Once they were side by side she noticed that Jamie seemed off and a little jumpy.
"Hey, you alright, Jamie? You seem on edge." Katy asked politely as they reached and unlocked their lockers.
"Is it that obvious?" Jamie sighed, "B met someone new, and there's nothing wrong with that, his name is Owen and he just doesn't sit right with me."
"Did you tell Brandon?" Katy asked, grabbing the books that she needed.
"Yeah, I did and we had an argument about it." Jamie says closing his locker, Katy doing the same.
"Oh..? Why?" She asks going to Jamie's side again.
"Because, Brandon is just so whipped by Owen and does whatever he says. I pointed it out and he just got more angry. Everything's fine now, I told him that I just don't want Owen making decisions for him which he agreed to. But what's weirder is that before they left, Owen literally told me that I should be careful, like be careful of what?! He knows that I don't like him and he had this fake ass smile on, but when he said it, he said it so menacingly and so creepy."
Katy nodded along with what Jamie was saying and took a deep breath before she spoke, "Okay so let me get this straight, Brandon is in love with Owen, which is someone you don't like, and he's also crazy and controlling but Brandon doesn't know that. Got it."
"Couldn't have said it better myself." Jamie comments as they both separate to got to their classes.

•It was lunch time and as Jamie and Katy were waiting in the lunch line while talking, Brandon stood behind them but in the middle of the and placed his arm on Jamie's shoulder, causing him to jump.
Jamie quickly turned around and glared at him, "B, why?! I hate it when you scare me. Why are you here anyway?"
"I wanted to stop by. I can't visit my best friend and his other best friend while he's at school?"
"Of course you can, but it would be better if you didn't catch everyone's eye with every step you take." Jamie admits as the line moves forward.
Katy jumped in the conversation, "He's not wrong, you're literally eye candy to these hormonal teenagers. Especially for the straight girls that go here." Katy whispered the last part and the three of them laughed.
Jamie and Katy got their food and walked over to the empty secluded table in the back of the lunch room with Brandon trailing behind. Katy and Jamie were right; everyone watched and wondered why Brandon was with the two best friends, some drooled over him, others couldn't keep their eyes off of him. Brandon ignored it nonetheless.
They sat down and Katy decided that she'd get straight to the interesting topics, "So Brandon, do you have a boyfriend?" Jamie glared at Katy with a smile on his face, inaudibly asking what she was doing but Katy only whispered, "I know what I'm doing."
Brandon clears his throat, "I-uh. It's kinda complicated at the moment." Brandon confessed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"'Complicated'? Complicated how?" Now Jamie was interested.
"Um," Brandon smiled nervously, "Owen told me that he likes me."
"Okay, what did you say?" Jamie asked as Katy was really invested and eager to know more.
"I told him that I was confused if I like him or not and then he got upset so I told him that I did like him." Brandon's voice got small as Katy face palmed and Jamie looked at him baffled.
Katy shook her head slowly at him, "Oh Brandon, you poor, poor soul." Brandon looked at her confused and Jamie intervened.
"Was he happy afterwards?" Jamie asked the first thing that came to mind just so Brandon a wouldn't get any ideas of what Katy meant.
"Of course. I liked seeing him get happy after I said it, it was an amazing sight." Brandon cooed as he thought about Owen.
Jamie leaned over and whispered in Katy's ear, "I told you."

•__________________________________The school day was ending and Jamie did his regular thing and talked to Eric when everyone left the classroom. Brandon was close to the school but before he got there he picked up Owen.
Most kids were on their bus, others walking, and some already picked up. Since Jamie knew he was getting picked he stayed longer to talk to Eric.
Brandon arrived at the school, he was the only one left picking someone up after a car had just left. Brandon and Owen were talking, enjoying each other's company especially Owen, but when Jamie was taking too long and Brandon got an important phone call he asked Owen to go get Jamie. Owen didn't want to buy agreed, for Brandon.
Brandon told Owen that Jamie should be in English and Owen left the car. When Owen got out the car and he knew Brandon was on the phone he groaned. Owen walked in the school and since he didn't know where the English room was he walked up to someone to ask; Katy.
"Excuse me, do you know where the English room is?" Owen asked politely and with a small fake smile.
"Uh yeah, just down this hall and it's the first door you see." Katy directed.
"Thank you." Owen thanked as he walked off.
When Owen got closer there was a plaque with the numbers '112' on it and under it said 'E. Parker'. Owen was at the door but stopped in his tracks when he saw Jamie and Eric kissing at his desk. Owen quickly stood beside the door and not in front of it as a mischievous grin grew on his face.
Jamie is 18 while Eric is about to be 25 tomorrow. Jamie isn't a minor but Eric could still lose his job. Owen, knowing the information he knows now, is very damaging and even more damaging to Jamie and Brandon's friendship with what Owen has planned. Owen will get Brandon all to himself.
Owen heard footsteps near and he played it off as if he had just arrived, "Hey, Jamie," Jamie got startled since his back was turned, "Brandon told me to come and get you." Owen says sweetly since they're still in a public place.
"Oh... um, hey Owen. How long have you been right here?" Jamie asks nervously.
"Only for about a few seconds, why?" Owen asked, lying straight through his teeth.
"No reason, let's just go." Jamie lead the way and Owens grin came back as he turned his phone off from recording.
