It's been a few months, I'm usually at home spending as much time with my parents as I can before Eric and I take a big step into life with each other. Eric has told me that a school, far from home, are willing to give him a job but he hasn't said anything about us moving to the area. He talks about moving, just not us moving and it's really been kind of worrying me. I want to live with him, I want to start a life with him. He seems like he's in his own little world most times, like he's trying to figure something out or contemplating something.I don't know if I'm blowing this all out of proportion and I'm just overthinking things as usual but...I don't know, he says he wants to spend his life with me, he even said it this morning when we were talking during breakfast. Whatever, it's nothing, I'm just overreacting like usual.
Right?
...
Right.
___________________________________I was currently driving to Eric's house, after I left to go run some errands, I got a call from him. I answered him and put it on speakerphone,
"Hey, what's up?" I answered as I arrived at a red light.
"Can I ask something of you?"
"Uh, sure...?"
"Okay, I need you to stay away from the house for at least two more hours."
"Um, what?" I asked surprised at his odd request.
"I need to do something and I need you away in order for me to do it." He explained and I honestly didn't care, I could go hang out with my parents or see a movie, maybe shopping? Okay, I'm all in.
"Alright." I say simply as the light turns green and I start driving again, ready to make a U-turn.
"Oh, um, okay then. That was easy."
"Yep, okay bye, I'm going shopping with Katy, love you!"
"I love you too!"
I hung up, made my U-turn and headed straight to Katy's house so we can have a best friends day.

•"Are you sure you want to get those?" We decided to go to the mall, Katy asked as I held onto two thin, silver, rings, one with an 'E' and the other with a 'J', "Doesn't it seem a bit pricey just for some rings?"
The price was came up to $35, including tax, "Yeah, but I really like them. Eric gets the 'J' and I get the 'E'." I said as I walked over to the cash register, placed down the rings as Katy placed down an energy drink, I'm not surprised she got one.
"You might as well just get married now." Katy commented as the cashier rung up our stuff and I pulled out my wallet, I don't mind paying for this, it just means that Katy is buying what we get next.
"Whatever," I grab the bag the cashier handed to me and we started walking out of the store, "I can't until I move in with him."
"Has he told you where?" Katy asked grabbing, and opening, her energy drink and starts drinking it.
I sigh, "Uh, no he hasn't." I say softly, my eyebrows furrowed in slight worry, an small frown forming on my face.
"I know that face. What's the problem?" Katy pointed out, nudging my arm softly with her elbow.
"It's just- I don't know if he wants to move in with me, he tells me he wants to spend the rest of his life with me but whenever we talk about moving he just says things like it's only him moving away and not us. I want us live together, I have for a long time, but whenever it does come to that point in the conversation, like he's not sure of us, it's hard to know what's really going to happen, what's going on in his mind."
