"I'm serious, Brandon. Get. Out." I pointed to the door as he looked bewildered."JJ, I-"
"Don't call me that. Only my best friend can call me that and since you don't really have control over your own life, I suspect that Owen wouldn't want you calling me that." I say calmly but but sternly.
"Jamie... We're b-est friends," his voice broke, "I want you in my life I don't want our friendship to end like this. I admit that I'm a dumbass for letting this happen. I just-... Owen has just gotten in my head-"
"And apparently your heart. Brandon, I don't care if you love him but I just want you to know that I don't like him, but go ahead; be with Owen. Nothing will happen with our friendship as long as you don't let him dictate your life."
Brandon sighed in defeat, "Why do you know me so well? I never want you out of my life, Jamie, and I mean it. Never."
"We've been through so much together, I won't let that go." I smiled as we came to a conclusion.
"Thank you, JJ."
Brandon walked over and wrapped his arms around me in a warm hug.
Third POV
Little did they know is that Owen was listening to their heated argument on the other side of the door. Owen wants Brandon all to himself, call him obsessed because that is exactly what Owen is.
When Owens dad talked about Brandon, Owen would get lost in thought about how amazing Brandon would be if he ever met him and Owen is satisfied how accurate his thoughts were.
Jamie is just getting in the way of Owen and Brandon's 'relationship' which he isn't happy about. Not in the slightest.
Owen listened more closely as Jamie started to speak again, "B, please don't let anyone get between us. Live your life as much as you want I just don't want our friendship to end. I would never have Eric come between us, so please, don't let Owen."
"I won't, I promise."
Owen didn't want to listen any more as he trudged downstairs and scoffed at Jamie's and Brandon's friendship.
Promises don't last forever, Brandon.
Owen has and knows many secrets and they are very damaging to whoever he held them over. When Brandon told Owen about Jamie for the first time, Owen knew that Jamie would get in the way so he needed Brandon to pity or be sympathetic towards him. And what better way to have Brandon's pity and sympathy is to tell a sad tale and highly fabricated one at that.
Owen is telling the truth when he said that he was transgender because he figured that many people sympathized with them, so he decided to throw it in the story to 'make it better'.
It's sick and twisted to say the least but Owen is just as sick. If Brandon ever found out, Owen would be out of his life and Owens father would not be happy about it either.
Knowing that Jamie has a boyfriend is good information but not enough. Owen needs to know more, the more secrets the better.

•It was later in the day and it was time for Brandon and Owen to leave. They were all gathered by the door as Owen had a fake and forced smile on as he watched the two hug goodbye. Seeing them show affection towards each other made Owen feel disgusted.
"I'll see you later, B."
"You too, JJ." Brandon opened the door, "Love you, dork."
"Love you too, doofus."
Brandon left out and before Owen walked out with him, he faced Jamie with a forced but convincing smile, "Bye, Jamie. It was so nice to meet you." Owen lies.
"Yeah. Um,... you too..." Jamie's says not feeling comfortable.
Owen was about to walk out before he turned back around and whispered in Jamie's ear, "I'd be careful if I were you." Owen says menacingly.
Owen pulls away and has an innocent smile on as he pulls Jamie into a quick perky hug and finally left, "Bye, Jamie! See you next time!"
Jamie stood there unaware of what just happened and what he could have meant by that. Jamie honestly felt scared, it was so unsettling and threatening, what else was he supposed to feel?
Jamie closed the door slowly and locked it. He just stood there, he didn't know what to do or how to act on it.
Jamie went to the living room and looked out it's window and saw Brandon drive off. Jamie didn't know what to do, should he call Brandon and tell him, should he just act like nothing happened, should he confront Owen about it? What is he supposed to do?

"Brandon?" Owen asks looking over at Brandon.
"What's up?"
"Is Jamie dating anyone?" Owens asks bluntly.
Brandon was a little caught off guard but didn't think anything of it, "Yeah, he is actually."
"What's their name?" Owen chose his words carefully since Brandon never told him that Jamie was gay.
"His name's Eric." He answered.
"How well do you know him?" Owen interrogated.
"He's actually a family friend of mine, so yeah, I know him pretty well."
Owen didn't push the questions any further since it would have been odd that he would want to know so much.

•"I don't know what he meant," Jamie was on the phone with Eric, telling him how everything went, "And he said it so threatening as well, it was so creepy."
"He can't be that serious, I mean, he just met you. Why would he be giving you threats?"
"I don't know and I really don't want to find out. Also, B is just so wrapped around Owens finger that he would tell and do anything for him. I don't know what Owens intentions are and if they're bad I just really hope that B doesn't get hurt, he doesn't deserve that."
"How does Brandon know Owen anyway?"
"Owen's dad is Mr.Hayes, you know him right?"
"I've met him a few times, yes. I didn't even know he had a son."
"B didn't either, it's weird that Mr.Hayes doesn't talk about him."
They talked further on the subject and both wondered why Mr.Hayes doesn't talk about his son. What could be so bad about Owen that he doesn't talk about him?
"I'd be careful if I were you."
