It's finally Monday.I hate Monday's.
I drag myself out of bed, sluggishly like usual. I got to the bathroom and take a quick shower, I dry my hair, I brush my teeth, and pick out some decent comfortable clothes.
Please have the rest of the day be good.
I walk downstairs, mom and dad are at work, but B is sitting in the living room watching Tv.
"Hey, B." I say going over to him and sitting down.
"Hey, JJ." He says with a happy smile. Why can't I be a morning person, "How'd you sleep?"
"I slept good, thanks, but waking up this early in the morning isn't good." I groan.
B chuckles, "Oh, you're mom told me to pick you up today, by the way."
"Oh? What time?"
"I'm not sure, she didn't tell me yet. I think you have an appointment or something. She was in a rush this morning..."
"Oh, alright." I checked my phone and saw the time, "I have to get going, B." I say getting off the couch and going over to the door.
I put on my shoes, grab my house keys, and my backpack, "I'll see you later, B. Don't have too much fun without me!" I say opening the door.
"Trust me, I won't! Bye, love you dork!"
"Love you too, doofus!" I wave goodbye and leave the house then I lock the door.
I walk to my bus stop just in time to see it turn the corner.

•It's after lunch and I don't know if B is still coming to pick me up or not and there's only two more classes left.
I was walking through the school hallways with Katy, trying to avoid bumping into people, when I hear my name being called.
"JJ!" We turn around and it's B walking over to me, and oh how I loved how almost everyone was sizing up my best friend.
"Uh, who's that?" Katy asks with confusion drawn all over her face.
"That's my other best friend, the one I told you about, and the one who punched my ex."
"I like him already." Katy's says with an approving but mischievous smile.
He finally reached us, "Hey, B. This is Katy, she's my other best friend."
"Nice to meet you, Katy." They shook hands and I could tell already they will be teasing me together for the rest of my life.
"Nice to meet you too. Jamie's told me a lot about you."
"Hopefully all good things."
"He only talks good about you. Oh, and thank you for punching his asshole ex for me." Katy says with gratitude.
"The pleasures all mine." B chuckles.
We all start walking down the hall, people still staring at him, "I'm guessing you're here to pick me up?"
"Yeah, but we need to get your homework first."
"Ugh! Do I need to?" I whine and pout but he doesn't budge while Katy teases me.
"Yes. Yes, you do. Pouting won't save you now, JJ."
I groan as we walk to Katy's class, "Bye, Katy. I'll talk to you later."
"Bye, Jamie. Bye, Brandon, it was nice meeting you."
"You too."
We walked to the class I was going to, History, and we quickly grabbed my homework, "Alright what's your next class?"
My eyes widened as I remembered what my next class is and who my teacher is!
"Oh-uh, I don't think I have a last class today so we can just go." I try turning around but B pulls me back.
"Nope, what is it?"
"What are you talking about? I don't have a last class, come on let's go!" I try walking away again but I still fail.
"If you're not going to tell me then..." B turns us around and goes back to Katy's class.
Fuck!
B swiftly goes to her class and enters, the class hasn't started yet and people are still talking to each other.
"What's Jamie's next class?" B asks hastily, me standing behind him shaking my head.
"It's Eng-Empathy! Yeah, Empathy, it's a new class their trying out." Katy 'corrects' quickly.
You tried, Katy. You tried.
"Hm. Okay, thanks, Katy, bye." B turns around and I know that I'm not getting out of this one.
We walked in silence as my hands get sweaty, my breathing quickens, and I start to shake. Why did it have to happen like this?
The hallways are cleared, B has found the English room."Alright, you get to see your lover and get your homework. Win, win, right?" B says with a naive smile.
B opens the door and I instantly feel overwhelmed, anxiety going through my veins. The door opens, Eric sees us, the class sees us, B most definitely sees him.
B instantly turns to me in disbelief. He closes the door just as fast and looks at me shocked.
"Jamie..."
"B, I didn't know!" B walks away and I rapidly go after him, "B, listen to me!"
B abruptly stops and looks at me, "5 years, Jamie! I've known him for. Five. Years! I-"
"B, how was I supposed to tell you?! I wasn't just gonna go up to you and say, 'Hey, I'm dating and in love with your family friend and my English teacher. How's your day?' I wasn't going to do that! Please, understand where I'm combing from!"
B started walking again in a huff of anger, "Jamie, I just-... Did you not trust me enough? Jamie, I trust you with everything, my phone, my family, my life! Why couldn't you trust me with this?" B's face saddens as he stops a few feet away from the school entrance.
"B just let me explain!"
"Did you sleep with him?" B asks calmly but sternly.
"B-I- thats not the point! Just li-"
"Did you?!"
"I-Yes! I did but- B!" I admit and B groans in anger as he exits the school
I know what he means. We trust each other so much, it's unlike any trust anybody's seen or experienced. Whenever we tell people how much we do trust each other they don't believe us. We trust each other with our secrets, crushes, insecurities, fears, doubts, our lives. And I didn't share this with him. I don't blame him for feeling like this.
B is still walking but stops when I yell, "B, I know; I messed up, badly. I was just scared of the conflict, the arguing, the tears. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to be with him. To see him, to hear him, to even be in the same room with him. B, he's so important to me, he's never hurt me or did me wrong. Just, please. I see where you're coming from but see where I'm coming from." I beg and beg as tears brim my eyes, blurring my vision.
I let the hot tears run down my face, not wanting them in my eyes any longer.
"P-please." I plead, my voice cracking in the process.
B sighs and opens his arms, inviting me to go into them. Which I gratefully accept. I go to him and hug him as tight as I can, letting my tears go into his shirt.
"I understand, JJ. I understand..."
Thank you, B. You will always have a piece of my heart.
