3rd POVBrandon and Owen were talking in the front seats of the car while Jamie shifted uncomfortably; he felt nervous and on edge but he didn't know why. Jamie wants to trust his gut feelings but he doesn't want to be wrong and cause problems, again. In this moment he only wishes to be held by his caring boyfriend so he could take the problems away, at least just for a little bit.
Something has to be wrong, otherwise I wouldn't be feeling like this. Jamie thought to himself as he gazed out of the car window, his eyebrows furrowed.
Since Jamie has been through so much bad, as if he had a sixth sense, he could usually feel when something bad was going to happen one way or another. For example, when he used to get bullied, some days were just getting pushed and shoved but on others, when he would get bad sensations going through him, he would be so afraid and paranoid. On those days he would come home late, sometimes with a subtle limp, and for reasons he didn't want to think about anymore. It pained him mentally and somehow physically to think back to those specific days. Since those days, it was as if his body developed a sixth sense to bad things that would happen.

•When they arrived at Jamie's house, stopped in front of the house, Jamie noticed that he was the only one unbuckling his seatbelt, "Um... Brandon aren't you gonna come in...?" Jamie asked his voice already filled with disappointment.
Brandon pauses his conversation with Owen and looked back at Jamie, "Uh, no, not today, Jamie,"
'Jamie' ? He never calls me by my first name unless we're arguing or having a serious conversation,
"Owen and I are gonna hang out today, I hope that's alright."
Jamie forced a small smile through his saddening heart and dissatisfaction, "Oh, um, yeah. That's alright," Jamie opened the car door and grabbed his backpack, "I'll just see you later then." Jamie closed the door and once he did he could hear Owen start up their conversation.
Jamie turned around and headed to his front door. As he was walking there he looked back and saw Brandon already driving off, Jamie wasn't even half way to the front door when Brandon started driving off.
He usually waits. He always waits.
Jamie felt a pang in his chest, a feeling he's quite familiar with, it hurt but he's gotten used to it over time. The last thing Jamie wants is to lose his best friend. Losing Brandon is bad but losing him emotionally is even worse. Jamie would hate for them to become strangers.
Jamie unlocked the door and walked inside, the house is quiet, per usual when he gets home from school......without Brandon.
Everything's going to be fine, don't overthink this, Jamie. Everything's gonna be fine.
Jamie tried calming himself but his gut feelings are just getting worse, something bad is going to happen, Jamie knows it for sure now.
Jamie went up to his bedroom, kicked off his shoes and lied down in his bed, despite having homework to do. He looked up at the ceiling, his mind blank, his breathing being the loudest thing in the silence that filled this lonely house. Eric told Jamie that he would be getting home late so he wasn't able to be with him today, which saddened him even more, and Katy was in trouble with her parents, leaving Jamie alone for who knows how long. Jamie's parents got off work at different times almost everyday and usually late so it wasn't likely that they would be home anytime soon.
Even if Brandon wasn't here to visit, Jamie would've been at Katy's house but since she got a low grade on her science test, she's in trouble and knowing her parents they were going to make it worse than it actually was, especially since they still didn't really accept her being pansexual.
