"When are you gonna tell your parents?"We were driving, after B took me to the dentist just for some cleaning, he has a lot of questions which I understand.
"We both agreed when I was comfortable." I replied.
"That's good, that's good. What's gonna happen after senior year?"
"I dont know, B. College was never something I was interested in... and I'm not just saying that because I don't want to leave him." I say the last part already knowing what he was going to insinuate.
B chuckled, "You read my mind. You know I only want what's good for you, JJ."
"I know, B, and thank you but you don't always have to protect me."
B gasped dramatically and placed one of his hands over his heart, "How could you? I thought we were best friends? Agh you're breaking my heart."
"You're so stupid." I giggled and pushed his arm halfheartedly.

•We arrived at my house and at this time school is over and I need to call Eric to explain.
B unlocked the door and we went inside. B took his shoes off and sat on the couch while I took my shoes off and took my backpack upstairs. I came back down and B was watching cartoons, this is why we're best friends.
"Hey, B, I gotta make a call, okay?"
"Okay, JJ."
I nodded, knowing he can't see me, and went to my room, closing the door. I plopped down on my bed and called Eric.
After a few rings he answered, "Hey." He sounds worried.
"Hey... Everything is fine, by the way. He understands but he won't stop asking questions." I laughed.
I heard him chuckle making my heart smile, "What even happened?"
"Well you know Brandon, he wanted me to get my homework from the rest of my classes. He's such a nerd."
Eric laughed, "We didn't even have homework today." He admitted.
I groaned, "You've got to be kidding me."
"I'm afraid I'm not but look on the bright side, at least you don't have to wait to tell him." He says optimistically.
"Yeah, you're right. Eric?"
"Yeah?"
"What's gonna happen after senior year?" B's question went through my mind because I really don't know what's going to happen.
"That's where it's up to you, Jamie. Whatever you decide to do I'll be by your side to support you. If you want to go to college then I'll be their for you."
My heart is warmed from this and I blush, "Thank you but I don't know if I want to go to college. I've never really been goal oriented. A regular job is for me, being something professional or making myself know isn't me." I explained.
"Jamie, I get it, it's okay if you want to do that, you don't have to. I will be there for you."
"This is why I love you." I smile brightly.
"I love you too, baby."
"I want to see you, are you at home?" I ask, wanting to be with him.
"I am and you are welcome to come over. Are you gonna get a ride or should I pick you up?"
"I can get a ride, B knows where you live right?"
"Yeah. Are you sure he's alright with this?" He asks unsure.
