(Whole chapter is in Brandon's POV)
Brandon's POV
Jamie and Eric seem good together, they make each other happy. As long as Jamie's happy, I'm happy. Yes, it was a shock to find out that Jamie was talking about Eric when he told me, but that's the least of my problems.
Eric, Jamie, and his parents were talking in the living room while I dismissed myself from the room to give them their own time. I decided that I'd just go get some coffee then just go talk with my parents.

•After waiting in line for about 5 minutes, I got my coffee and was on my way to where my parents were staying while we we're here. I don't know exactly when we're leaving but it should be soon, well, I hope not anyways. I don't like leaving Jamie, I miss every time I do, he's my best friend and I love him to death. I guess now that he has Eric I won't have to worry too much about him.
Yeah, I worry about Jamie sometimes, he can just be so fragile at times and I don't want anything or anyone to hurt him. Dont get me wrong, Jamie is strong mental and emotional wise but sometimes things get to him and he has all of his doubts and fears come to the surface. He'll need reassurance, he'll need comfort, and attention just to know that someone still cares for him and he's not alone. I've never minded doing those things either.
Jamie was my first after all; first kiss, first time, first real relationship, first person that all of my family approved of. We all love him. He's part of our family and we're part of his and we wouldn't change that for the world. I'm happy, he's happy. We can be content together and as long as one of is happy, then the other is too.
I pull into the driveway of the Airbnb that my parents rented out for our stay and I noticed an unfamiliar car in the driveway. As far as I know, my parents didn't have anything going on today so I didn't have in the slightest idea who it was.
I parked and made my way to the house. I unlocked the door, coffee in hand as I took a sip and headed in. I heard chattering coming from the kitchen, it was Mom, Dad and I didn't recognize the other two. I walked into the kitchen absentmindedly, not really worrying about who were in there.
I stopped right in my tracks when I noticed a blond haired boy, about my age, with blue eyes, standing next to my parents, talking about something I couldn't add on to. There was a tall man standing next to him as well, it was Mr.Hayes or Micheal, they looked alike but he had darker blond hair, almost brunette. The boy must be his son.
I knew that Micheal had a son but I never knew what he looked like, I only knew his name; Owen. They noticed me and my mother smiled brightly,
"Brandon, you remember Micheal, right? Well, this is his son, Owen." She informed as I walked closer to them.
"Um, yeah. It's nice to see you Mr.Hayes." I greeted kindly.
"Brandon, you know you can call me Micheal, we've known each other long enough," It's true, he's like an uncle to me.
"I know, I know. I'm just-"
"Formal, we know." They all mocked in sync, except for Owen who just giggled. His giggle was so lovable.
Owen held out his hand, "It's nice to finally meet you, Brandon. My dad usually talks about you whenever the word 'businessman' comes up."
I shake his hand in return, "It's nice to meet you too and I can take a pretty good guess as to why he would." I joke back.
"Alright, I think that's enough talking about me," Micheal clasped his hands together, "Why don't you two go talk while we discuss important matters." Micheal chimed in.
