His smile

We had just opened the restaurant, and there were only two families inside, so work was slow. I tried to find something to do while staying away from Jungkook,  to be honest, my foot was really starting to bother me. I wondered if I could put some ice on it without anyone noticing, but cringed slightly when I thought about the embarrassment if anyone saw.

Just then, I saw Jungkook entering the room from the kitchen bringing food to a table. I hadn't realized that he was a waiter, just like me. How was I supposed to avoid him now?
As I was polishing the same fork for the third time, it slipped through my fingers, falling down on the floor with a loud sound. It bounced off the ground and the sound of it hitting the carpet was more muted. I gasped a little and quickly bent down to grab it. Damn, so much for staying out of sight.

"Hey" I heard a cheerful voice say. I looked up to see Jungkook, of course, bend over the counter looking down at me. "Hi", I answered him shortly before standing up. He didn't back up mush as I rose up, so our faces were very close. Almost touching. I flinched and took a small step back as he grabbed my hand on the counter. "Wh-what are you doing?" I asked bewildered while looking around, to see if anyone noticed us. Everyone was busy doing their own stuff. "Nothing" he answered, and shrug a little while letting my hand go. I crossed my arms across my chest and just looked at him. It took a minute before I finally asked "What". Again, I was annoyed. He smirked as he reached his hand out towards me, palm facing up.

"The receipt". "What?", I asked while my head completely failed. "I need the receipt. The family is done eating and they wish to pay". "Oh," I exclaimed while my hands started to search for the piece of paper. When I found it I put it in his hand, while he was staring at my face. "Thank you", he sang and winked at me. I looked away while blushing, and he started walking towards the finished table. When he was far enough I let out a big huff of air that I didn't even know I was holding.

Later, when work was finishing

Relieved that the day was finally over, I quickly grabbed my jacket and started to exit the building. I thought I was free, but stopping abruptly when I remembered something. Damn. My phone. It was still inside. As I was turning around, cursing under my breath, a man running caught my eyes. "Heyyy, Jimin" Jungkook shouted while running towards me. I panicked a little, looking around, hoping no one noticed us. He had reached me now and was patting around his pockets, searching for something. He seemed to find it and grabbed it before handing it out to me. Automatically, I accepted it, wondering what it was. My phone! "How did you know this was mine?" I asked looking up at him. "Well", he said while scratching the back of his head, "I sorta looked at your background, and well, since it's you I guessed it must have been yours" he finally admitted sheepishly.

I cringed as I remembered my wallpaper, wishing I'd changed it. It was a picture of me with a cat. A calico cat, to be exact. It was my favorite animal. Oh well, at least it was just Jungkook who saw it.

Wait. I shouldn't think that Jungkook seeing it would be alright. Why didn't I feel the same level of anxiety with him that I did with other people? Why was I more comfortable with him than I've been with anyone? Well, except for of course my family and my best friends. But they didn't count. Why was he so special?

He kept staring at me, and at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he thought I was crazy. I decided that I should just get it over with. "Thanks," I said while smiling slightly. "No problem," he said with a big smile on his lips. Again he got that bunny look. I realized I was literally staring at his face, so I turned my head away, feeling awkward. "Anyways, I have to go, but hopefully I'll see you tomorrow?" he said, not affected by me. He sounded so sincere. Like he really wanted to see me. "Uhm, sure, I guess," I said a little stunned by him. "Great!" he exclaimed and clapped his hands a little. "See ya tomorrow," he said and turned around leaving me speechless.

As I started to walk to the closest taxi I couldn't stop thinking about his flowy hair, his beautiful dark eyes, and most of all, his magnificent smile.
