*Next day*
I woke up with Mina very close to me in her bed. I looked at the time and saw that there was a couple of minutes before we had to get up so I decided to get up and walked into the kitchen. I started making some pancakes and plating them up. I got out the syrup and some lemon juice and served it on the table I went to get two glasses of water. I went back to the table and saw Mina stood their looking down at the table. "I hope you like pancakes." I said then put the water down and she walked over to me. "Thank you so much this is so sweet." She said after she hugged me. "Your more than welcome." I said we then sat down and ate. I then went to get changed after we soon went to work.
*at work*
We approached the building and there were some people running around and out of sight. Probably because they hate Wilhelmina. We walked into the building and there was a young woman where I would be if I was at work. Mina walked up to the desk and I followed her. "Dannie this is Y/n whose job you are filling in if you have any questions ask her or if you need anything." She said and Dannie nodded "nice to meet you she said holding out her hand which I shook. "You too." I said I then heard my name be shouted out and knew it was Jessica I turned around and saw her approaching me I smiled and hugged her when she came over "hey I've missed you here." She said "only here that's rude." I said pretending to be offended she laughed "you know what I mean. Anyway we are having lunch together. I need the someone interesting to talk to." She said I kind of wanted to spend my lunch with Wilhelmina but I haven't seen Jess in ages "yeah ok." I said "ok cool I need to get back now bye." She said and walked off. I turned back to Mina and Dannie and they were talking. Well Mina was telling Dannie that she needed some papers to sign in two hours tops. She the finished the conversation and smiled weakly at me me then started walking into her office. I was confused but brushed it off "Do you need help with anything?" I asked Dannie and she shook her head "no I'm fine thanks. How can you work with her as your boss it mushy be hard." She said and I shook my head "not if your on the right side of her." I said and smiled she shrugged and I walked into Wilhelmina's office and closed the door behind me. I sat at on a chair and didn't say any coz she was doing anything on the computer. Moments later she was done doing what ever she was doing and leaned back on her chair. "What do you when your in here?" I asked "mostly emails and routers. But some days I have to give my opinion on how things are going and any new rules or stuff like that they want to place." She said and I nodded. "Is there anything you need me to do?" I asked "no your fine don't worry." She said I nodded. "Do you not get lonely being in here all day?" I asked "I guess but I'm used to it." She said and I sympathised for her as I know no one would come and check up on her. There was a knock on the door "come in." Mina said the door opened and Dannie walked in. "Here are the papers you asked for." She said and held them out to Mina which she took and put them infringe of her. "Ok is that all?" She asked and Dannie nodded and walked out but left the door slightly opened. I heard Wilhelmina sigh with slightly annoyed "can you shut the door please?" She asked me I nodded stood up and close the door and sat back down. "Thank you." Mina said "Your welcome." I said back
Lunch time was approaching so I waited for her to finish going over the papers that she was doing. When she was done we walked outside and over to the canteen. "I'm going to go have lunch with Jess. See ya later." I said before smiling and walking over to the table Jessica was sat on. "Hey." She said as I sat down "hey how's things going?" I asked and she shrugged "alright I suppose. Still single." She said and I smiled "what you smiling about." She said "nothing, just that you've been single for ages." I said then ate some of my food "I guess so." She said then ate. I heard Mina's cane come closer and Jess looked up at me still eating and I gave her a confused look. Next thing was that Mina was stood to the side of me "can I join you guys?" She asked and I nodded without thinking "yeah of course." I said and she sat down next to me. "I mean we were alright just the two of us and having a conversation but oh well." Jessica said "hey don't be rude." I said looking at her and she rolled her eyes "anyway. We need to hang out soon. How about at the weekend we can go out to a club and try and get someone." She said "I can't drink with the medicine I'm on." I said "surely a few won't hurt." She said "well I don't want to risk it or find any body." I said and she smiled which made me laugh. "Wait have you met someone? Who is she?" She asked and I giggled "Someone." I said and eat my lunch "oh come on give me more than that." She begged "I think I'm good. Plus it's not that serious anyway." I said "what why!? Anyone to have you is lucky they should make it serious as soon as humanly possible." She said and finished eating "how about you Ms Venable do you have anyone?" Jess asked and I looked at Mina and smirked she ignored me "That's none of you business I should be allowed a private life." She said "that's true we all should but we were just on the subject." Jess said and Mina nodded "well I should be getting back. Y/n text me and we will plan to meet up and do something." She said before walking off. "Do you want to get back?" I asked and she nodded. As we were going into Wilhelmina's office I see my dad. "Hey I'll be in there soon my Dad is here." I say and Mina walks into her office and I make my way toward him.
