"Thank god, you're here." Jimin's roommate opens the door. "He's been doing nothing but dancing and crying for the past week. I can't take it anymore. I was waiting for you to arrive, for so long. Now hurry." You hear very loud music coming from Jimin's room. You even know the song. Its beat is aggressive and strong. River by Bishop Briggs. You've listened to this song a thousand times. You open Jimins door just a gap and watch him dance. He dances so differently than he normaly does.

His moves are aggressive and powerful. His anger fills the whole room. There are no elegant pirouettes or soft movements. There are body rolls and there is grinding on the floor. You can't believe your eyes. What you're watching is basically a sex scene. He is so hot. His tongue teases his lips and his hair is wet from the sweat. He pulls up his shirt and hits every beat with his pelvis. He stomps and jumps. He throws his arms into the air. He walks closer to the mirror, seducing himself and you with his sexy glances. How are you still standing. And then he runs towards you and makes a flip in the air. You are so startled that you loose your balance and fall into the room.

Jimin immediately stops dancing, turns and looks at you, breathing heavily. Oh you would give anything if you could just run to him and press your lips on his. But you can't and you can clearly see that in his eyes. There is nothing but anger staring back at you. "What are you doing here?" You thought about how to start this conversation on your way here. But now, actually standing in front of him, seeing how much you've hurt him, nothing is left from the neatly practiced speech.

"Jimin." Your voice shakes. You don't know if you can do this. Maybe this is all a big mistake and you should just forget about him and leave him alone. If he rejects you, If he doesn't forgive you, there is no way you're ever gonna recover from it.

No, you have to. You have to tell him, how you feel. You owe him an apology, even if it breaks you. Your feelings start streaming out of your mouth.

"I'm here to apologize. I know that there is no way you can forgive me. What I did was unspeakable. I never wanted to hurt you so bad. I never wanted this to happen. I wish I would have realised my feelings for you earlier. But I didn't. And I fucked up. And this past week, I've been sick and I couldn't think of anything else but you. Every day I thought, how do I fix this? How do I show you how much you mean to me and that there is no one else for me? That there is no other guy in this universe who I want to be with." You take a deep breath. Jimin's face has changed a bit. He looks less angry and a little bit more sad. Well that doesn't help. A sad Jimin is not better than an angry one.

"I wrote you a song. Actually it's just the lyrics. you wrote the song. It's the melody that changed everything for me. So I wanted to write about  important people in my life. People who have changed my life and people who have changed me. Can I please play the song for you? I've worked hard on it." You look at him with puppy eyes. He nods.

Quickly you take out your laptop and speaker and start the song. You look at Jimin. His eyes widen as he hears the familiar melody. And they get even wider, when he hears your voice.
